Reception staff were very helpful when checking in, felt strange having an actual key for room as opposed to electronic fob. Room was clean and comfortable with additional pillows provided. I'd suggest they provide extra tea/ coffee/ sugar & especially enough milk to match the beverage choice. WiFi was free for 30 minutes but signal was varied also ability to connect could be made easier. There was a choice to pay a daily fee for WiFi but unless you're not planning on leaving the hotel why would you pay for it? Hotel was easily accessible next to a bar/ restaurant no in house restaurant. Parking was free and limited, unsure where you would park if all spaces were occupied.

Room was large, clean and most importantly quiet.

Staff were probably the most helpful of any Travelodge we have stayed at - thank you to them

Hotel location was good to gain access into the town, local attractions and theatres.

Must mention that there are two good places to eat that are very local to the hotel. First the Grumpy chef cafe is in walking distance at the local small shopping mall in the same crescent. Very friendly and excellent breakfast.
Secondly, there is a Harvester at Lough? which is the next village up the main road that feeds the hotel. Staff were brilliant here - well done Kay - and food was better than we expected. Plus a very safe environment in these covid times. This Harvester is obviously very well managed, hence the customer experience is excellent.

Stayed here for 3 nights as we brought our bikes for a bit of cycling in the area. I checked before booking that we could store our bikes in our room and they were very accommodating and gave us a family room on the ground floor. Perfect. Not too much to say about the room. It was clean, bed was comfy, plenty of hot water. Staff were really helpful and friendly. One thing we did notice though, as someone else has mentioned, was that guests were using the fire exit as a means to go out of the hotel instead of the main door. We didn't find it noisy, but more of a security risk. We pulled up one afternoon and a girl outside (looked like she had a takeaway) was ringing her partner on the inside to come and open the fire exit door to let her in. Really!!! Are people so lazy they cant walk down a corridor. A couple of times the fire door was open so anyone could gave strolled in. I didn't mention this as it has been mentioned before. Maybe I should have. Hotel is next to a Miller and Carter restaurant. Theres a couple of supermarkets and other food outlets in walking distance. We also used the Talbot Inn which is within walking distance. Cycling in the area is great so the hotel was good to use as a base. Every day the staff greeted us and asked if all was ok and had we had a good day. We would stay here again.

I have used travelodge before with no real issues. This time the stay was.. Well not the best.
The room was clean and smelt fresh but later that evening the problems started with someone banging at 10.30pm and the smell of weed from my bathroom that was coming through the extraction unit that didn't work.
I did speak to reception about the smell the morning after but what can they do?

This hotel surely is breaking rules around covid by dirty towels being left outside rooms. Towels were not even left in the morning, I checked in around 4pm and dirty towels were outside most doors.

Be prepared to not be able to shower or bath

Stayed with my family for the weekend, very clean and friendly hotel. A special mention to the young man that was cleaning the rooms on our floor, he was very polite and even helped us with the bags. I think he said his name was Mark. A really nice touch to finish our lovely stay. Thank you

I was here for just one night with friends and found my room very clean and comfortable. The room itself and the bathroom were well laid out and had everything I could wish for (except hot chocolate!), but I would have preferred more room to put things at the bedside, like a table or bigger shelf. I had a little niggle with the television, which I didn't use because I couldn't turn the volume down. Other than that, it was great. The two ladies I met on the front desk were friendly and very helpful in recommending places to go in the evening in the area.

Great hotel in great location with excellent staff who not only made me feel welcome, but great as they let me check in early and were brilliant the next day when I left my watch behind. When I came back, the receptionist took me straight to the room that I had stayed in, spoke with the cleaner who told her that she had put the watch in a safe place before giving it back to me. Brilliant. Very clean, very spacious and very good value for money.

Very very expensive for a one star hotel with no hair dryer, television did not have a good reception. The bed was not made during the day. It was what I expected I guess from a one star hotel but I certainly paid four star price.
