What an amazing group of staff I met whilst staying at the Stables, recently. The team could not do enough to make my stay as pleasant as possible. I was on a fact finding mission regarding my grandfather's history as he worked at the Castle for Lady Baillee. Sadly he was involved in a tractor accident in 1941 on the Leeds Castle golf course and passed away in the military hospital within the castle that had been established during the war. Because of the time of year my visit to the castle and grounds was quiet which was perfect. The food in the restaurant was of a high standard too. I couldnt have been happier. Solo travelling is not always easy. I had two nights in a cosy double room named Flynn which backed on to the stable yard. It was a two minute walk to the restaurant. The room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Top class toiletries were provided too. A special shout out to Julie who looked after me at breakfast and two the other waitresses in the evening. Plus the cutator who assisted me in my historical mission. Nothing was too much trouble. All in all a very successful trip. I will be back.

We spent the night of our wedding here and cannot recommend this highly enough. Every single member of staff is exemplary. Enquiries I made were dealt with so quickly and with such kindness even before the stay. We were very lucky to be upgraded and stayed in the Maidens Tower. The only word to describe this is stunning! The room was beautiful and spotless and the extra items in the room on the hospitality tray were the best we have seen. The bathroom was lovely with a huge shower and bath. We eat in the restaurant in the evening which was also superb and we were made to feel so special. You have access to the grounds for your whole stay and we managed to make the most of this as it is a really beautiful place.

Wow! That will be your reaction as you walk into one of these rooms. Plushly decorated, with lovely touches. Breakfast and dinner were fine - dinner was not superb, but good; breakfast was standard, in fairness. Staff were all very friendly and welcoming.

The rooms are in the stable courtyard in the heart of the grounds where you have access to the grounds and castle. The rooms are sympathetically furnished and decorated with all the usual amenities. The bonus is the glorious noble bathroom products that you can purchase from the gift shop. Bed really comfortable for a good night sleep. Lots of hot water for bath/shower and fluffy towels. I love it when a hotel provides flannels! Check in and out is easy and there is good communication from the hotel prior to your arrival. Breakfast is in the restaurant which had a wide choice of hot and cold self serve dishes but also a couple of cooked to order and bespoke eggs. All this with a view of the castle. They are having some huts built lakeside with hot tubs which looks like an exciting addition. Well worth a 2 night stay to get to know the place

We have just returned from an overnight stay and what a great experience. We arrived around 1 - did the tour of the castle which was fabulous. Returned to our beautiful room to relax before dinner. Dinner was lovely and we chose the 2 courses. Had a walk up to the castle in the dark - before returning to our room. We stayed in the courtyard and the room was perfect inc some treats in the fridge. A lovely shower with towels and toiletries provided. We had a walk around before breakfast which was so beautiful and empty! After breakfast which was buffet style with lots of choice we walked to look at the maze and the birds of prey centre - we were very lucky to be able to see the birds up close and appreciated the staff showing us up close. Thank you to all I had a great birthday. Would love to come back again and try the new lodges.

We stayed here for our wedding anniversary in the Argyll room. A rather disappointing start accessing the room through a car park, however once inside the room it was lovely and actually directly overlooked the Culpepper Garden. Lovely touches in the room included complimentary slippers, robes, gorgeous smelling toiletries, luxury snacks and chocolates and locally produced apple juice. The staff during our stay could not do enough and we’re so friendly and helpful. When you stay overnight you are able to access the grounds in the evening when closed to visitors and also in the morning before they open at 10 am. We had a fantastic leisurely stroll in the early morning sunshine taking in the stunning landscapes and the birds or prey centre without another sole in sight. Would highly recommend staying and we will return again.

We booked dinner bed and breakfast for one night. It was all perfect. We was able to arrive after 1pm and parked in the guest car park entered by Broomfield rd . We was greeted by 2 very nice pleasant ladies in the reception. They gave us all the necessary information regarding our stay. Prior to arrival we had received excellent communication re our booking and our table booking for dinner. We was given the David Niven room in the courtyard . The room was very comfortable with a bath and separate shower cubicle. We both slept very well , bed very comfy despite it being one of the hottest nights this year . There was complimentary toiletries in the bathroom. In the room was a small fridge. A tea tray with tea coffee and milk . Bottled water , biscuits ,chocolates and crisps. The room was ground floor so no stairs. We ate in the restaurant in the evening . Food was well presented and delicious. The staff were friendly and attentive. We also ate breakfast there in the morning . Delicious freshly cooked breakfast to order. Also selection of cereals, toast ,preserves, and fruit and pastries. Fresh tea and coffee and fruit juices. We had a fabulous time in the castle the grounds and the restaurant. There was also a food and craft fayre in the grounds which was included in our stay. I would recommend staying here for a special occasion. We felt very spoilt and we was happy with everything.

Wow! We were late booking the accommodation and we had ideally wanted something a little further south but nothing was suitable to our needs or taste. We were so pleased we decided to book Leeds Castle Stables. The room we had booked was a cosy double, the room was compact but I’m sure spacious enough to spend a few days. Everything was impeccably clean, of a good quality and exactly like the photos on their website. As other have said walls are quite thin so we could hear noise from the corridors as people moved to their rooms etc. but all was quiet through the night. Breakfast was exceptional, we really couldn’t fault it and it kept us going all day. Staff at all levels were super friendly and we were made to feel very welcome. The car park had ample spaces- we had two cars with us and this was not an issue. We also made full use of the free admission to the castle on both days. We will return? I hope so. I have recommended it to several of my friends too. Thank you to the team.

My wife and I stayed last night in the Windsor room. Check in quick and helpful the overnight stay includes access to everything, even better the grounds after the crowds have left which was wonderful. The Windsor suite is very spacious lovely if rather “firm” 4 poster bed, lovely and capacious cupboards for cloths, fridge and large bathroom with plenty of hot water. Windsor whilst in the main stable yard area was very quiet. Dinner in the Castle View restaurant was an absolute joy. Fantastic service - lovely lady arranged a castle facing table. The food was fabulously tasty, beautifully presented and served with smiles. We chose dessert not starters - beware the cheese platter is huge fir one but really excellent. Breakfast in the same place, again great service and whilst quality not hitting the heights if dinner still a good way to start the day. The grounds and castle are a joy and being early not overly busy. One comment. Outside of the restaurant the and gardeners the staff attitude is a little brusque, almost rude and not what one expects of a nationally important customer facing tourist venue. “Captain Moody” on the Black Swan ferry epitomised this almost felt we were spoiling his day. Nonetheless highly recommended.

Lovely accommodation with attractive decor and quality furnishings. We overlooked the courtyard so next time I would ask for a garden view.Very quiet at night thankfully, when day visitors disappeared. Good quality products in the bathroom. Breakfast was ok..have had better but it was fine. The view from the dining room alone makes it worth the stay and of course you have free access to the grounds in the evening when everyone disappears. Security lock on the Stable accommodation external door didn’t work though no sense of being insecure as such. However it does mean anyone can access the staircase to the rooms. Lovely gardens around the place and the views to the Castle from the main path are sensational.
