Whilst staying in room 401 the room was constantly warm even without the radiators being on which caused a lot of frustration throughout the stay and disturbed sleep. It was so hot that breathing became difficult at times, opening the windows did not help even when left open during the day and night. When trying to use the key cards...

16 of us got together to celebrate my mum's 80th birthday in the Park suite. All the staff...on reception...in the bar...the chef and especially Patryk could not have been more friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. All the food was plentiful and very good. The 7 bedrooms we had were varied from a standard room...a family room and...

We booked this hotel as we were going to the Harry Potter studios nearby. I'd stayed at the Mercure Hotel in Sheffield recently which was lovely so I had high expectations. Sadly, this Mercure hotel, is very tired. The room is quite grim, basic as you can get and the bed is as hard as rock. On the plus side,...

Myself and my family stayed here for 2nights as we were attending a family funeral that was also being held in the hotel. Accommodation wise the rooms are basic but comfortable but the service was outstanding from the front office to the restaurant and bar nothing was too much trouble. The staff were courteous, friendly and went over and above...

Check out took an age as the man in reception wasn't trained, the lady he found hadn't done it for 2 years and was on the verge of overcharging me £100, Once they found the right man well problem sorted. Breakfast...

So we booked this hotel as a package DB&B for 2 nights as an Easter break, then read the reviews and thought oh dear! But we needn't of worried at all, not sure where the other reviewers were staying or what standards they review against but I don't think they have travelled!! The hotel on the outside isn't the most...

We stayed at the Mercure for one night as it was near to the Harry Potter studios, where we were going. The room itself was comfortable and clean. The signage in the hotel definitely needs some thought - we struggled to find the spa area. The "spa" area needs some work. The pool area is a fine, but a little...
