Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Excellent hotel. Historic well decorated building. Lovely room (room 101), quiet and peaceful, decorated with really good attention to detail. Staff uniformly pleasant and helpful. Food good, although it was along time coming. (to be fair we were warned there would be a wait as they are short staffed in teh kitchen at the moment). I would certainly book this again.

This is a fabulous hotel that is full of character. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful; the service is fabulous and the food is amazing! There are little touches that make such a difference. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it.

Excellent service, the hotel was really lovely, comfortable rooms and breakfast was excellent. Would definitely recommend a stay. We were upgraded to a suite and the staff couldn’t do enough for us. Free parking and an excellent location.

Room 108 a bit small. Found heavy picture above bed was hanging loose onto one side of bed. Staff informed, who immediately transferred us to another room, 108. Other than that, no problems. This is the 4th coaching inn we have stayed at, and hope to explore some more.

We had a lovely time with our two small dogs. We were in the four poster room which was unbelievably luxurious and very good value. Will definitely stay again when visiting our family in the local area.

After taking the decision to ditch a competitor ( iHG ) was delighted with this lovely place the staff and the building are amazing , from the well stocked bar nice to see some great non mainline burbons and great menu ( not a pizza in sight thank god) to the fusion in the rooms the Tudor style meeting modern comfort in the bathrooms. This is my hotel of choice when travelling for business now and will try to use them in all my build locations. Well done team Tudor

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Tewkesbury has long been on our list of places never visited and both the hotel and the town exceeded expectations. Couldn't have asked for a better located hotel, if the hotel car park is full there are a number of convenient, inexpensive pay and display parking places to choose from. The Abbey and walks round the river are really close by. The bedroom was lovely. Dining area well laid out, food good and the staff so personable. A revisit is definately on the cards.

Room 202 up several steep flights of old stairs. Room obviously old but well fitted. Bathroom modern but not well cleaned. Comfortable bed a reasonable sleep although an alarm went off at 8 and continued for 40 minutes. Didn't eat here.
