Honestly every single member of staff I have met has been lovely. Very friendly and helpful. Hotel is clean. Rooms had good air con. Restaurant, bar and breakfast all good. Thank you for good gluten free signage and options.

Great service and the staff were amazing. The rooms were very comfortable and the staff were very professional and were there for everything I needed. The business centre was very quiet and comfortable and the connectivity was flawless.

Was in Preston with work and booked this hotel based on location. Booked a double bedded room at this hotel to arrive and be told that they only had twin bedded rooms left that consisted of 2 single beds. I said I wouldn’t be staying and the receptionist said she would charge me for the stay anyway. When I expressed my dissatisfaction she agreed to a refund as a “gesture of goodwill”. I left to find another hotel down the road where I got a comfortable double bedded room. Based on the fact they gave my room away and the receptionist tried to avoid dealing with the issue, I wouldn’t recommend or return.

Thank you for taking the time to review the hotel and allowing me a chance to respond I am so sorry that your experience with us was below expectations, I have spoken to all the front desk team to understand why this would have happened as it is not our usual high standard as we would never "give a room away". No one on the front desk has recollection of this. The only time that a guest would be allocated a twin room instead of a double is if they have booked a standard room allocation , this is clearly noted at the time of booking explaining that your room type would be allocated on arrival based on availability and although you may have a preference this is entirely based on what has not already been guaranteed. A hotel stay and experience is entirely determined by the thoughtfulness of its crew. Our stay here was lovely. The diligence and attention to detail of the staff is visible in every aspect of the hotel's hospitality, be it the front desk, housekeeping or restaurant. The entire team is highly committed and motivated to enhance guest experience. Adeel at the restaurant and bar deserves special mention in the kind of commitment demonstrated in enhancing guest experience. Adeel's conduct, demeanor and guest centricity made each dining experience wonderful. Dayan's cheerful hospitality has been exemplary. If there is one strength of this hotel that stands head and shoulders above all others is the commitment and sincerity of its amazing staff.

A prostitute was working out of room 208 on the second floor on 01/09/2023. This is disgusting. Why is it so easy for anyone from the street just to walk in and access each floor? Is this what security amounts to in 2023??

Thank you for taking the time to review the hotel I am sorry that your stay was below expectations and you have rated us 1 star I have spoken to the duty managers who were working on this evening and also looked in our handover communications and I have found no details of you bringing your concerns to our team during your stay Our front desk is manned 24 hours a day and the lifts are closed from the ground floor after 10pm and the front door locked from 11pm, we have never had an issue with security and the safety of all our guests is very important to us, we also complete regular floor walks I am confident that if you had spoken to our front desk team, we would have investigated your concerns and taken appropriate action if required Kind Regards Michelle Lonsdale General Manager

Stopped in to break the journey back up North. 19 July. Price was pretty good. Easy access to and from M6. Good price. Parking limited outside hotel however £3 something to park overnight at the multi storey next door which felt safe and was clean. I had a lovely welcome at reception which was good cos I was weary from driving. Given clear directions to the car park and checked in with no issue at all. Sorry whoever served me I didn't make a note of your name but your welcome was nice. Room on floor 7 was bright. airy and clean. Bathroom clean but perhaps now very dated with a chipped bath. Room 707. But I was happy. I walked into town for dinner which was ok but in the dark/winter others may feel a bit unsafe. Breakfast at the hotel was good, relaxed and a nice dining room. I did not use the bar but it looked nice and I overheard other guests saying how well they were served there. I awoke refreshed which is unusual for me to continue my journey north. …
