We had the most wonderful time and Thankyou so much. My partner has MS so walking is a bit difficult. Once we arrived we were given an upgrade to a lovely pod with a hot tub (although it was a bit cold to brave!). Alex was so lovely and helped us turn on the heater. We really enjoyed going in the clubhouse where it was lovely and warm. This was so enjoyable and peaceful and Thankyou for a perfect stay. With kind regards, Daniel and Donna

First of all I apologise to the staff for being the worse customer ever! I had to change the date of my booking several times , and I even turned up on the wrong day - a day too early ! However in all off that the staff were so accommodating and helpful and they were still able to put put me up in the glamping pods, which are really nice, well looked after and clean, plus the additional fire pit and other items which made it a better experience too! Really relaxing night away. Thanks again to all the staff and the lovely lady who helped us out on Friday night !

We won this visit on Facebook and was so glad we did! what a find! We absolutely loved our stay here. The site is great for kids and found the pods spread out. My daughter is on the ASD pathway and whenever we go away finds it difficult to sleep but not here-slept straight through. To me that speaks volumes. The site was so well decorated for Halloween and we enjoyed the pumpkin trail. A great base to explore the area-Thanks so much for our stay x

Just returned from a great family overnight trip to Stanley Villa Farm 🎣 The on-site carp fishing being the main attraction for us, and it didn’t disappoint!! Staff were very welcoming and accommodating, both before and during the visit. Also, they are very quick to respond to any queries via email. We stayed in a lovely pink pod ☺️ There is ample parking close to all of the pods, and several large trolleys next to reception which are very useful for moving luggage with ease from your car to a pod. Our pod was clean and well insulated. We didn’t opt for a heated pod, however even if we did, we wouldn’t have needed it (beginning of October). Arranging the two single beds into an ‘L’ shape does make the most of the space when you need to lay an air bed down - a good tip from the site’s website. There is a heated communal lodge, with seating, a couple of fridges and freezers, kitchen with a microwave. The lodge is quite large - great for when the weather isn’t too kind! Check-out for the pods is 11am, which is good as most sites we’ve stayed in it’s 9am or 10am. Great venue for fishing, the grounds are well maintained. Our son landed 4 good looking healthy carp, all of decent sizes (from a half day’s fishing on one rod). Pegs are not too close to each other and there there is ample space for all your equipment.

Stayed here for 2 nights with a friend. Fantastic experience. Staff were friendly and extremely helpful while we were there. Pods were so cute and the beds were clean and comfortable. Purchased some fire wood for the evenings as each pod has its own fire pit. There is a lodge with a communal area where you can use the power supplies to charge your phones, use hair drier ect, or just chill out , vending machines, kitchen, communal fridges, and wet rooms. There is an on-site shop which sells amazing ice cream, and can hire chairs for your stay. I really enjoyed my stay here and will definitely be coming back

We stayed at Stanley Villa farm in a glamping pod for 2 nights on 11th and 12th Sept. We received a lovely warm welcome when we arrived and the facilities were all explained to us. We stayed here last night in the Pod which included a hot tub. The Pod itself was very cute and we had plenty of space inside for all of our stuff and our dog (who is rather big)! There was a lovely view of the lake and the hot tub was lovely in the evening with all the fairy lights around it. Unfortunately, we had rain for our stay but even in the rain, it was great. The only thing that could have been improved was that the door was a little hard to shut and required some force but everything considered, this was minor. As it was raining, it would have been nice to have a roof on the hot tub area but there may have been a reason that there was not one. We enjoyed the hot tub nevertheless! The staff were lovely and very helpful! We would stay again :)

Hi Bethany, Thank you for your lovely review and glad to hear you enjoyed the pod and hot tub with the great view over the lake. We did think about putting a roof over but most guests said they preferred it without as you can enjoy a full view of the evening sky (maybe more so when it isn't raining :) ) I am sorry about the door being a little stiff to close, it just needed a little adjustment and our maintenance team have had a look at it. We will look forward to welcoming you back another time. :) Kind regards, Alex & the Team

Excellent stay, just what we needed, fully relaxing, good facilities and pods spot on, disposable bbq for dinner and breakfast, recommend using the wood burners on a lovely evening and sunset. Tom who we meant on arrival to check us in, was friendly and helpful, made our stay more enjoyable. If you love your fishing, ideal.

Just returned from an excellent two night stay with my sons, brother and nephew (age7). Excellent check in and Alex was on hand to give us information on the site and answer any questions. Soon after we bumped into Tom who was very helpful with fishing advice (which worked out very well). We started our visit by having some amazing ice creams from reception. We then made our way down to the bell tents. Excellent accommodation great space and fit us all in easily. We had the bell tent with the hot tub which was amazing in the evenings. The kids also had loads of room to run around at the side of the tent. As previously mentioned the fishing was excellent and switched up even more after Tom offered us advice.facilities great. Overall a great stay and we have started talking about when we could come back!! Thanks Tom and Alex ! Andy
