Cosy and friendly. Real coffee, excellent breakfast, free to come and go. Interesting surroundings. Books everywhere. Close to the town center train station, motorway. Birmingham NECs. Short train journeys into Birmingham centre. Warwick Castle only 3 miles.

I have stayed at Garden Cottage several times in the past for both business and pleasure, singly or with family and have always found the warmest of welcomes. The rooms are comfortable and well appointed and the breakfasts are a perfect start to any day. Thank you Christine. I will be back. Bob. Horsham, Sussex.

Just the place, if you wish to avoid the ubiquitous, standardised, international, hotel bedroom you can walk round blindfold. Set at the bottom of the long garden of No.52 Kenilworth Road (a noisy road), it is an amazingly quiet and peaceful location. Park your car directly in front of the cottage, not the apparent parking space before the cottage gate....

Stayed here on business for three nights in July. Owner very friendly and chatty, I was in the Garden room which was smaller than most rooms I had stayed in recently. Nice bathroom and cubby hole which had a microwave and utensils for eating with. I could only have a cooked breakfast on my first night down to other guests...

We spent 6 days-and-nights in this fascinating place and enjoyed every minute and every aspect of it: its quiet and beauty, the room comfort and spotless cleanliness, the perfect location (12-minute walk from the city center, or 3 minutes by bus which has a stop in front of the house), and above all the captivating personality of the owner, Christine...

We have never been to Leamington Spa before and the Garden Cottage made an ideal stopping place. Attractive coach house, lots of character and welcoming reception from Christine Jenkin. She went out of her way to help us - with a bus stop virtually on the doorstep. A little problem with our ensuite plumbing, but otherwise highly recommended.

If you want to stay in a nondescript generic purple box, don't come and try this well kept, interesting, friendly bed and breakfast. The owner is charming and welcoming with nothing being too much trouble. Both the rooms have their own bathrooms with showers. Breakfast is home-cooked with copious amounts of toast and coffee. Not being right in the centre...
