We received a very warm welcome from Carole. Our room, no 4, was to the front of the hotel with a view of the river. It was compact, fine for a short stay, and spotlessly clean! The shower was really powerful. Very good wifi connection....More
Just had an excellent meal at the Wagon & Horses. I consider my standards to be pretty high, but could not fault anything about this place. Great menu choice, comfortable surroundings and friendly, efficient staff. Try the Cannon of Lamb, it's amazing! :)
25 minutes awaiting before even getting a menu list. Then one food was OK. The second one was very average or under. Then another half an hour waiting for paying. Really not as good as expected. :-(
Next time I will choose different one.
