Visited after receiving a recommendation from a friend. A very warm welcome and seated to our pre booked table. Drinks service was prompt and the Sunday roast was absolutely first class. Not one element could be faulted. I shall be back for sure. Well done.
A traditional Sunday roast in extra large proportions. Impressive on the eyes and very good tasting meats. The gravy and condiments were good to be a meal in themselves. I would recommend this meal for an extraordinary feasting experience. Bring your appetite, then bring more help.
Just had evening meal my 1st visit it was excellent the food was superb it was plentiful cooked to perfection tasty and really good price. The staff are so friendly and have excellent customer service skills I would highly recommend this place I'm going tomorrow again for the roast dinner could not fault it 10/10
Upon my friend's girlfriend's recommendation, my family came here for lunch while on a visit to Heysham. We sat outside - lots of spacious tables and a cosy atmosphere. The menu was fairly limited which is understandable in the current climate, however there seemed to be nothing plain which didnt really suit an older member of our party. The waiter was really friendly and efficient, the food did take a while but at least it is reassuring that it was cooked fresh. We were all slightly disturbed that on the menus it described the pizzas as "hand stretched", as that gave us the image of fingers digging into the dough...but alas, the pizzas were all delicious, as was the other food. So, overall, a very pleasant visit with good food and friendly service. But one last thing! When we rang up to book a table beforehand, the man said all the tables inside were fully booked (after we mentioned one member of our party was disabled). However, when we popped inside for the lavatory we noticed inside it was completely empty...was discrimination at play here or was it a genuinely very quiet moment during a very busy day? Suspicious stuff. …
A great trip to visit friends on the nearby canel. WE found the hotel lovely and clean the staff were friendly and chatty. Set up very good for social distencing and no heavy handedness. The beer garden was lovely and bar and food a great selection. Very good location parking across the road is £11 for 24 hours but there is one a 5 minute stool away for £5. We intend to make a return visit soon
