Hotel has potential to be very good the presentation has been updated well in places but areas of heavy traffic like the stairs have been left, The food cooked in the pub was like pub food, something I would expect if I were eating a £5 pub meal but £18 for a dry but very greasy half a chicken is...

The receptionist on check in was very lovely and helpful. Room was lovely and spacious with a nice big bathroom. Wanted to use the spa but we didn't check in until late so we couldn't. Local restaurants and close to shopping centres. Would go again :)

Though the hotel is okay and has recently undergone refurbishment. The food in the bar area is of very poor quality, in the restaurant service can be very slow, and not because they are busy. Some of the staff are ignorant.

I thought this hotel had been refurbished?!?! Must have read a different review. Our room was tired and carpet worn and dirty. Bathroom floor was clean in the middle but filthy round the edges. The shower was pathetic. I've been caught in warmer, stronger rain showers!! It was cold and barely a trickle. And don't even get me started trying...

Arrived at the village hotel Dudley & from the moment we arrived till we left, it was a pleasure. Lovely rooms, food & leisure facilities. Staff were friendly & helpful & should the need arise again to visit the area, I would definitely use again.

Lovely warm hotel, clean and tidy hotel . Staff are very friendly and helpful. Only issue is with the bed , which kept moving due to the unsured wheels . Overall, I would recommend. Hope they deal with that minor issue .

When we arrived we found Village hotels no longer operate with a reception facility. Having been allocated a room we found it absolutely horrendously smelling of smoke with the windows wide open obviously trying to get rid of the dreadful smell. It was freezing. I went to the front desk where without reception there was no-one to deal with our...
