Don't like the modern check in desk/reception area, not a great idea and really impersonal. Those stripy carpets have seriously got to go... The room was nice and clean and really warm with great facilities. Not as nice as the room in Walsall Village though. The bar area is a bit minging and needs a clean. Chambermaid was very impatient...

The room rate I paid was far to high for a slightly sub-average room quality experience. The hotel gave a slightly worn impression, an specifically I dislike hotels with aged-looking carpets on the floor. My general experience is that english hotels still are in the previous century when it comes to fllor-covering.

No one at check in at arrival but process was simple and easy to follow. Stayed in a club room which was clean and modern, but thermostat was left on high so room was very warm and took a while too cool down. Visited the bar and the pool and staff were very friendly and helpful. Only small thing we...

We stayed in a club room and had access to a coffee machine which was very poorly stocked and probably wasn't worth the upgrade. The room was smallish and the bed wasn't as large as most hotel beds. Also the shower was noisy and poor. The positives were a good breakfast and excellent gym and swimming facilities

Met a close friend for coffee and a chat. The ladies toilets were dirty with cubicles unflushed and clearly had not been checked for some time. I did try to communicate this to the desk staff who were just too busy talking to even notice was waiting to speak with them. This is not the standard I wish to find...

First of all, it is a nice hotel, nicely located near major routes and plenty of amenities/restaurants around the hotel. It is definitely of higher grade to the usual budget chain hotels. We stayed in a family room. The main double bed was the best bed we have had comparing to other large chain budget and not so budget hotels...

Excellent facilities, gym, steam, sauna, jacuzzi. We were a family of 4, however i would say the rooms are only comfortable for max of 3 people (which will be a squeeze) For comfort a max of 2 people as you will have space to move around etc. Staff were very friendly and very helpful. Sofa bed was uncomfortable
