Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I stayed here a couple of weeks ago when attending a function at Doncaster Racecourse and was a little nervous, because I’d booked a room without its own bathroom. I didn’t need to have worried. The room and shared bathroom were spotless, and the owners were lovely. They even gave me a lift to the racecourse when I was running late. Over and above what you’d expect from a B&B. You don’t get that kind of service at a Travelodge!

A nice quiet value for money hotel just outside the town. We wrestled with the heating so had a hot night with the window open. The room and sheets were basically clean. The owner did her best to provide a suitable cooked breakfast.

Stayed here for the first time. Good location in quiet area of Doncaster and only a short bus ride into town. Nice, clean small hotel and good value for money. Handy for town with bus stop across the road. Would definitely stay again.

The hotel is an ideal location for access to the city centre. Within walking distance or a bust stop right outside that will take you straight into town. Also close enough for a very cheap taxi fare under £5.00. Hostess very welcoming and room clean; comfortable and quiet. Has some really nice olde world charm features; will return thank you!

Not only the room is oldfashion but also the towels, the mattress, the pillows. I mean, it's fine if your decor is oldfashion (I thought I had returned to the 70's) but it's quite uncomfortable sleeping on an old mattress with old pillows, taking a shower (by the way, the shower fantastic) and drying myself with those towels , Which are like smoking paper. Definitely, I didn't like it.
