I had to stay here for three nights last week. I was concerned about Covid measures of course, but like the Premier Inn in Liverpool Airport, they are thorough. One way system in reception, hand sanitiser, perspex screens etc. The room was immaculate. They only service the room if you request it and you can get spare tea, sugar and milk etc. from reception. You can book a table at the Beefeater across the carpark (when lockdown isn't in place) and theres Subway, Macdonalds and Burger King a short walk away as well as a large Morrisons, so all survival needs are covered. My only negative is that the location is a bit out on a limb.

A massive thank you to Thomas on the Reception desk for giving us his honest advice to not book a room there during the stormy weather of Ciara but continue south along the M1 with the knowledge that if conditions worsened, we could easily stay at any of the other Premier Inns en-route. Thankfully we made it home safely but wanted to acknowledge the integrity of Thomas. His advice has definitely cemented our positive opinion of Premier Inn.

Out of all of the Premier Inns I've stayed in with work this is up there with the best of them, super friendly helpful staff and swift booking in process which is all you want when you've been travelling on the roads.
Lakeside Doncaster has everything you need and a beautiful view.
Highly recommended!

Used this hotel as a stopover from Inverness back to Kent. Whilst the hotel was clean and comfortable, it appears that the staff generally did not get the memo regarding masks and were walking round the hotel without them on several occasions. Room was very modern and we chose to eat in the neighbouring Beefeater restaurant. As a stopover its fine but in the current climate staff need to wise up on safety measures for themselves and their guests

I stay in nearly 150 hotels a year in my job and last night was probably one of the worst.

Booked a double room online for £118.64 including the meal deal and breakfast.

Arrived at the hotel to check in and was told it was the last room they have and it was an accessible room not a regular double. Having got to the room, the bed wasn’t the normal bed i associate with the quality of a premier inn. The bed was collapsed in the middle and lumpy ( it was like two fold up beds had been pushed together).
As it was the last room there was no other option.

I had a shower in the evening to freshen up before the evening meal to realise the two soap dispensers in the shower/bath were totally empty….

I went for my evening meal which was terrible. The calamari was soggy, the chips with the burger were well under done and the burger itself looked like something off a burger van.

In the morning i went down for breakfast to realise their was no coffee machine working in the whole place. I was told i would have to have sachet coffee which only decaf was remaining…..
I understand the pub is separate to the hotel but i booked with premier inn and had done the meal deal via your website.

Complained in the morning but was told this is what happens when its the last room in the hotel and i can help myself to dried coffee sachets behind the desk.

I will be advising our company not to send any of our 1500 employees to this branch or any premier inns in the future.

We've used this Premier Inn a couple of times over the last year as a spot to get our heads down and freshen up whilst in the area for a photography weekend.

The area is perfectly located with ample restaurants and activities just a stones throw from the front door with a large Asda also within walking distance to get any bits you may have forgotten.

The rooms themselves are the older style Premier Inn rooms, large and spacious with a sofa bed as well as a queen sized double bed. The rooms are typically clean, airy and of the right temperature, no issues with them being too hot or cold on any of our stays.

There is free parking outside the hotel but this is shared with other restaurants etc as part of the park so be sure to be mindful of anything left in your vehicle.

All in all, a Premier Inn I will certainly return to!

Room Tip: Try for a higher floor to minimise noise from ground level restaurants.

Excellent hotel ..the staff are all friendly and helpful and nothing is too much trouble. The room is always clean and if you need extra milk or tea/coffee all you have to do is ask.
I stay here on every week and wouldn't go anywhere else.

Premier Inn is a reliable stay generally. My recent visit was as expected and my only real criticisms are that the pillows are hard and the shower was very hot or scalding, I could not cool it down, so didnt have a good shower.
The WIFI is ok, it drops in and out but is manageable.
When I left and checked the room for my belongings, I found someones lateral flow test under the sofa thing - so cleaning could be a bit more thorough.
The sausages in the breakfast were undercooked most days - worrying to have undercooked pork, so I didnt eat them.
On the whole, it was a comfortable stay and as expected for this chain.
I am likely to return.

I booked 3 rooms for my family. Upon check in, the lady was so welcoming and friendly, checking in was so easy.
Rooms very well equipped, clean and tidy.
We ate at the restaurant next door- Beefeater- again great service, pipping hot food and great value.
Buffet breakfast gone and is table service now which is the only thing I would say prefer the other way but for Covid safety, they are sorted. Great stay.

Most terrible experience ever, i am trying to find the process to make a formal compliant but its not very clear on the website. Stayed 4 days and not cleaned the rooms out during our stay even after requesting on two separate days to clean rooms out while we were out. we had a 6 months old baby and toddler, we take hygiene standards very seriously especially with covid nowadays. very disappointed felt like asking for a refund. I would NOT recommend. staff at reception were warm and welcoming and apologetic when they found out but its simply unacceptable to be that dirty especially in a family room.
