This is a gorgeous property a mile outside Chipping Campden. Large rooms, well outfitted and decorated, and a wonderful mostly homemade breakfast that goes far beyond the usual B&B fare. Two guest sitting rooms and a large lawn so you don't have to hang out in your room. Worth every penny. It's a pleasant walk into Chipping Campden and beyond (weather permitting, as always).

This review is long overdue, but I had to write it, because there is no place more deserving of 5 stars. We stayed at The Malt House for 5 heavenly days and nights last March, and it was nothing short of storybook. We have traveled quite a bit and have been fortunate to stay in some lovely places, but the The Malt House is exceptional. During our stay we felt as though we were living in a lovely, tasteful, luxurious, and historic home, with warm, wonderful people waiting on us. Everything was perfect. All the rooms were comfortable and beautifully decorated, yet they retained a feel of the history of The Malt House. The food was always delicious with personal attention to our preferences. The gardens and grounds were like walking into a picture book. The location in Broad Campden was exactly what we were looking for, an out of the way small charming village, yet close to Chipping Campden, a lovely non-touristy town with good shops and restaurants. We simply couldn’t think of a thing we would change. The owners, June and Paul were the icing on the cake, always so nice, and going out of their way to suggest restaurants, make reservations, even finding a wonderful driver for our trip to Bath. It is clear how much time, energy, and love they have put into The Malt House. It deserves “ 5 plus” stars. Our only hope is that we get to return someday. We left a part of our hearts there, but we have wonderful memories.

We recently spent three nights at The Malt House for our anniversary. Everything is perfect about this place. The house are gardens are absolutely stunning. The rooms are beautiful and so clean. The bed linen and white company toiletries add a touch of luxury and the breakfasts are simply out of this world. 10/10... We'll definitely be returning.

We spent 4 nights at The Malt House in early July. It was fabulous in every way. The house is lovely, artfully decorated and with every possible element to make our visit comfortable and restful. The breakfast is outstanding, the staff warm and helpful. We highy recommend this very upscale B&B.
