This hotel is well located, not far from picadilly and the shops. However, that also means that it's on the main road and poor soundproofing results in poor sleep in some rooms. Check-in was fast and friendly, but no umbrellas for such a wet city was an oversight. The rooms themselves were nice and airy. Decor great, good amenities, shower great but squeaky and knackered bed. Free and fast WiFi a bonus. Heating had little control and only just acceptable. In this city you can do much better.

We booked this hotel originally based on the location, reasonably priced rates and the reviews. We stayed for one night for a Coldplay concert and it was very accessible to the Etihad stadium. It only took us around 25 minutes to walk back. The hotel itself is OK. The front of house staff member who we were seen by could have been a bit more courteous. We were stood at reception directly in front of him, waiting for him to finish whatever he was doing. This is usually fine but he didn't even acknowledge we were there until a good 5 minutes later. We stayed in a comfortable double which was a perfect size for our one night but it was very warm with no working aircon. We also had a room which was directly on the side of the main high street so there was a constant flow of noise throughout the night. The bathroom was lovely with a really nice shower but based on everything else, I would say this hotel is fine for a night if you're not in the room much but would pick somewhere else if your stay is longer. P.S there is a great pub a few doors down which serves really good food and drinks!…

I've stayed here on and off a few times but not for a couple of years. Can't fault the staff. So helpful-I have an aversion to lifts and the very lovely manager (whose name I can't remember) escorted me to my room so I wasn't on my own in the lift. Then asked a colleague the following day to do the same. Breakfast service was a little bit slow but I wasn't in any rush so can't complain. Highly recommend staying here.

I tried to change the dates due to personal circumstances. They declined, so I checked availability on their site and there was availability. They charged me the full £149 as can elation fee. Not very good customer service considering it is meant to be a nice hotel. Be aware.

Depending on how and what you have booked will determine what we can and cant do with the booking. If you book through an online agent we cannot make changes to the booking and would need to speak with the agent you booked with. We always suggest booking direct so we have more flexibility with your booking. If you book an advance deposit rate or pre-paid rate these are non cancellable and non refundable but do have a discount on the price as such. With these rates as stated they wouldn't be refunded, this is practise for all Hotels around the world. If its a best available rate you will have a window to cancel without fees being charged. Angel Suite - big and bed very comfortable - the lighting in the room wasn't great though. Room service drinks were amazing! Restaurant staff and kitchen staff useless and need training/sacking. Definitely better places to stay for the price!

Located next to Manchester Piccadilly, it is a great location for travelling however the breakfast wait over 40 mins late each day making me late for morning meetings, have stayed in the Clayton close by and would recommend that instead if you have morning plans. Would be okay for a weekend trip but not for business.

Paid quite a bit more for this room, booking direct on their website. Room was tired and needing a refurbishment, bathroom door sticking, tv outdated, windows painted shut. Mean on toiletries (only half a roll of toilet roll in room on arrival) pubic hair in shower. Advantage was a great location and staff friendly
