We had a two night stay for our wedding anniversary we found champagne and chocs in our room and congratulations from Helen and the reception staff. The staff were friendly including Richard, Thomas and jack and very helpful ranging from suggestions of things to do, to advising my husband on choices of whisky to drink in the lounge. The breakfast...

We stopped here when visiting Manchester for the weekend, perfect central location, very grand reception area. Bar area quite formal and aimed more towards afternoon tea than late night drinks. Would have given it 5 dots but the duvet was really lumpy therefore not that comfortable to sleep under. Beds really comfortable though. Would stay here again and maybe ask...

I booked a night as a surprise for my boyfriend. When we arrived the lady on reception was chatting to us and when we told her it was my boyfriends birthday she gave us 2 free room service drinks! Lovely thought. The room was so cosy and warm and the bathroom was huge. We made use of the swimming pool...

We stayed at the Midland as we were meeting friends at Mr Cooper's for dinner. Apart from being convenient for this, the hotel is in a good location to get back out to M56. We were kindly upgraded from our king guestroom to a very comfortable suite, complete with lounge area, desk and two smart TVs! The décor is quite...

Had a one night theatre break in Manchester and had afternoon tea and a stay at the Midland. Mel in the tea room was a star and made us feel very welcome as did all the members of staff. For a good value comfortable night you could not fault it.

I visited Midland Hotel yesterday for afternoon tea (A Groupon deal). The Midland Hotel is a special building and the foyer/reception is beautiful to see. The restaurant surroundings are special, pristine white table cloths and lovely china. Did you know Mr Rolls met Mr Royce at the Midland hence the name "Rolls Royce"? I cannot find any fault with my...

I have wanted to stay in the Midland ever since I was a student in Manchester, nearly 30 years later and I finally managed it! Stayed two nights in a King Superior room and it was lovely! The staff were really welcoming and friendly. It was everything I imagined it might be!

Popped into the midland initially for coffee on a Saturday afternoon. In the lobby was a fantastic pianist tinkling the ivories. How wonderful and relaxing listening to him playing such a vast and varied selection of tunes. We enjoyed the atmosphere we decided to stay fur lunch. Good service, good food and just a really restful enjoyable experience. Thank you...
