Stayed here a few times as someimes get some decent deals for this faded gem. Great location but so so tired. To queue for 40 mins to check in is ridiculous. Staff were friendly enough and must take a lot of merd due to underinvestment. Avoid inner rooms with no windows......sweat pits

So disappointed with this hotel stay. When we arrived on Friday night we were told that they had no room for us. I presume they thought we weren't going to arrive as ti was late. Even though I took the time email them our planned arrival time. Anyway after having a stand off for about 10 minutes I was told...

Booked 6 rooms for 12 people, 30th birthday celebration. From check we were upgraded, rooms changed smoking for the smokers etc and the staff were very pleasant and polite. My room was than upgraded again it being my birthday. All in all great experience. The experience was ruined when a staff member unnecessarily tried to force himself into one of...

I booked this hotel at short notice, and in truth when I read some of the previous reviews I felt that I had perhaps made a mistake. However, while different people have diverse experiences I think that some of the reviews have been unfair to this hotel. This is a large hotel in a Victorin building, so for those looking...

Booked delux room and upgraded to four poster room for £10. Really great room. Spotless clean. Loved the place. Would really recommend. Can get anywhere in town within 15 min walk. Breakfast was normal hotel standard. Evening meal was really good value for money. Deffo stay again.

I booked this hotel last minute as I knew I'd have to leave Manchester very early the next day and wanted somewhere close to the station. At £44 for the night on Booking.com I thought 'what's there to lose?' The inside is nice - a little dated, but very comfy. The staff were nice - the set up is great....

I booked this hotel last minute and at £35 for a night away in central Manchester, this place is amazing. Look, at £35 I didn't expect perfection. There were a few flaws in the room, but I kept on reminding myself that this has cost so little. People are moaning about the decor, the grand stairway is amazing and at...
