Stopped over in the pendulum hotel whilst having a night out round Manchester. The hotel has a great location and is lovely and clean. The bedrooms are small but modern with a smart ensuite. The best thing about the hotel is the garden bar which has a lovely outside area and patio. I have to praise Bogdan and Fabio who...

Had to stay here again as a colleague had booked the hotel for a business meeting and I still stand by my previous review. This hotel is noisy and the rooms are on the small side. This time it was the incessant roar and hum of some kind of air conditioning unit in the ceiling space above my room that...

Wow!!! I had my wedding at the pendulum on Saturday 18/02/17. The hotel hosted our full day from the ceremony to the evening reception. It was faultless, the food and service of the wedding breakfast was exceptional. The staff were friendly and helpful nothing is too much trouble. The room looked beautiful both the ceremony room and the reception room....

Stayed for one night using a Living Social voucher. Decent room, although very compact! Tea and coffee facilities, iron and board, fan and flat screen tv. Lovely ensuite shower. We had an evening meal and drink included in the deal which was very nice in the garden bar. Also given a voucher for 10% off food and drink too. Breakfast...

Have you ever been to look at a house where the estate agent told you one of the bedrooms is a double? But you know that means you will get a double bed in there if you don't have any wardrobes, drawers, open a window or even stand in there yourself? That's what room 528 is like in this hotel....

Thank you for offering us feedback. We do accurately describe our ‘City Double’ rooms as compact and well-equipped for an overnight stay. These are our smallest double rooms in the hotel, however our ‘Classic Doubles’ or ‘Twin’ or ‘Exec Suite’ rooms do offer more space and comfy seating areas if this is an important consideration for your stay.

Rooms are not large but very clean, tidy and good showers en-suite, all the usual facilities including free wifi. Reception and hotel staff very pleasant and helpful, food and service in bistro was very good and the breakfast choice of continental and cooked food was excellent.

My daughter and I stayed here for one night when visiting Manchester University. Well located for the University and city centre. The staff were brilliant. Really friendly and extremely helpful. The room was a little dated but clean. One comment is that we were located on an outside corner of the hotel near the A57M and could hear it from...
