Where to start... I'm sorry to say but our experience at the Mitre restaurant was awful. We had bought the Groupon voucher, two courses and glass of wine/beer. The idea of Groupon is to get customers to come back to the place, not to treat them like dirt. There was hardly any choice on the menu and could tell that...

I think the place has a lot of bad reviews for all the wrong reasons! If you want cheap don't expect 5 star and to be honest it was quite a quirky building and its location was perfect! Great views outside! I don't think the reviews were as bad as my experience! I booked last minute with my two young...

Purchased a groupon voucher 2 course meal & wine. Have to say was shocked how limited the menu was, so it wasn't difficult to chose. But oh my the food was really lovely, freshly cooked and good value for money. Staff were very pleasant and attentive. Was a bit put off as one lot of toilets were dreadful, dirty and...

stayed here for new years eve and paid £145 for ONE NIGHT!! we booked a 'deluxe room' and ended up in a cramped room along a corridor with no lights in where the room included 3 beds??? they considered that deluxe. room was tiny, dark and dirty with a tiny bathroom with a rotted bath. Felt unsafe in the room...

This Hotel is so disappointing! After arriving at the Hotel and being checked in by a very friendly Receptionist, we were given the key to our room that was unfortunately not up to scratch. The room was not very clean, the headboard to the bed was not in great condition and the bathroom was absoutley disgusting. I visited the Reception...

I went to see Drake in Manchester Arena and unfortunately I couldn't find any decent hotel at a good price (premier inn was about £250) so I decided to book a room in this hotel for £65. The hotel is very old and dirty, the lounge downstairs was "alright". I stayed in room 30 and it wasn't that dirty, however...

- The Mitre (Pub) Hotel has a good location for central Manchester and the Manchester Arena. This is possibly the only good point about it. Having checked in here on Saturday 11th Feb for a concert with friends at the Manchester Arena It is safe to stay I will NOT be returning. Upon check in we were given the Keys...

Dear Mitre Hotel, Firstly let me thank you for such a memorable stay in your hotel on Friday 10th Feb 2017. Why was it so memorable?... 1. The hotel is wonky and on a complete slant! We were in room 5. If you'd have put a penny on the left hand side of the bathroom floor, it would've rolled to...

Their was a crooked man who lived in a crooked house. The Mitre hotel is one of the oldest central hotels in Manchester. The crooked floors the obscure stairs all add to character of the building. Ive paid £35 for one night to be pleasantly greeted, promptly handed my room key, and overtly satisfied with the room. Staying also with...

Stayed here Friday 3rd Feb because I was going to a concert. I booked through late rooms and the hotel look absolutely nothing like the pictures on there site. Old carpets, stained bedding, dirty mirrors, mouldy bathrooms, peeling wallpaper, big gaps in the doors, only lock in the door a Yale lock. It's just vile and the worst part is...
