I stayed in this hotel only for day, just on the last day of my 10 days trip in United Kingdom. In fact i have stayed in Ibis Styles for four nights during this trip. The hotel was exceptional and the service offered for the money I paid, I should say the stay was exceptionally good. The check-in was very easy and the checking staff was very friendly and we were allowed to store our two pieces of luggage overnight. The room was bigger than most of the Ibis hotel I've stayed with enough storage and larger than expected toilets. The ironing room adjacent to our room (310) was very convenient and when I checked out early morning the reception staff arranged a taxi to the airport and he ensured that the taxi arrived on time. I should stay this will be first preference for my future trips to Manchester and recommend this hotel whole heartedly to all types of travelers, solo or family. I fell sad that I could stay more days in this hotel and also I forget to note the names of the staff members; all i have had interaction were beyond the expected level. A great stay on the best location in Manchester, with access to shops, restaurants, bust station, etc.

Stayed in the hotel for one night in January whilst on a course. Bed was comfy, newly done up and great shower. Rooms quite basic but clean and great for a one night stay. Plenty of room, desk to study on. Breakfast was included for an additional £5 and was mainly continental with some pots of scrambled egg type things and bacon and sausage barms too. Breakfast was OK but could have been a bit better, lots of things mixed with egg which I don't like and the barm cakes used for breakfast could have been better, but enough to eat for a quick bite in the morning.

We’ve stayed here several times in the past 6/7 yrs however this time there was no servicing of rooms whatsoever. We paid prior to staying for early check in but we had to wait for a room to be ready upon arrival which wasn’t too long await but when we got room there was a few hairs in shower cubicle and only 2 bath towels no hand towels. Next day there was no service so asked reception for fresh towels which was no problem then the same on the next day which we were told you don’t get your room serviced or fresh towels if only staying 4 days and you have to ask for these separately at reception if needed during your stay. I think this should’ve been told to us on check in

Just got back from a two-night stay and the room I was given was so dusty I could hardly get myself to take off my shoes. I know they say rooms are not being cleaned during clients' stay, but they could at least vacuum the rooms they expect to sell. Carpets were dusty, bathroom sink with brown drips outside of basin, and shower moldy. Also no mattress protectors on bed which makes one wonder about hygiene when mattresses are covered by just a thin sheet.
Reception staff also not welcoming, approaching them feels like bothering them. But location is good and proximity to Piccadilly train station is an advantage.

A very nice hotel with okay pricing. Little expensive for the Saturday night however.
Room was very clean and well presented, all amenities were provided and staff were willing to get more when you asked. Rooms come with hairdryer also, this wasn’t clear on the website but might save future guests the effort of bringing one if it was more visible. I found the rooms were a little dark due to the size of the windows but there was plenty of lights in the room to alleviate that issue.
Bathrooms at ibis hotels are a little unusual but not surprising as I’ve stayed with them before, it was clean and everything worked. Would always recommend that you bring your own toiletries as the ones ibis provides are not very nice in my opinion.
Had a couple of drinks at the bar, service was very good and staff were attentive and helpful throughout.
Overall, I had a very enjoyable stay and would certainly consider staying there again if I’m ever in the area.

Very pleasant rooms in a hotel literally around the corner from Chinatown, with excellent Thai and Vietnamese restaurants also within a 3-minute walk. Good selection of nearby pubs (three just along Portland Street) and only a 10-minute walk from either Oxford Road or Picadilly Stations. Very reasonably-priced given its venue.

The hotel itself was great value, very good location, spotlessly clean and walking distance to main sights. Breakfast was nearly £10, cold bacon, sausage and egg in a box like McDonalds only stone cold. Dried up watermelon was the only fruit, just a few boxes of basic cereal. Coffee also cold. I don't normally complain but refused to pay for this rubbish. Next day went next door to Premier In and for the same price had a lovely buffet breakfast

I booked this for one night and chose it due to its location to the metro I needed for work. I checked in at around 18:00. There was a band setting up in Chill which is part of the hotel. I was told I was given a quiet room. My room 106 was next to the toilets used for the "chill bar", and also the door to enter the corridor. The band started, which I could tolerate. What I couldn't deal with, was the shouting, screaming and door slamming by the other guests who appeared to be there to hear the band. This continued all night, until 22:30 I had had enough. I went to reception to find another guest there complaining. Obviously the noise was on and off all night, the door to the corridor slamming. All in all, I didn't feel as though I had slept much, and certainly had not been able to get any work done. I do wonder why this hotel would have a band preforming mid week, when I think many of the clients may be there on business? When I checked out, the same girl I had spoken to me the night before asked if things had improved. I said not. She told me I should have gone back to reception. There are no phones in the room - so am I expected to spend all evening going up and down stairs? I emailed front of house yesterday and asked them to contact me - they didn't. So I would advise anyone thinking of staying here who wants a peaceful evening to stay well away from the doors to the corridor, and also check if they have a band on. I wont be staying here again

We stayed during the Jubilee weekend where it was £145 room only.

The welcome was friendly but underwhelming. We asked about breakfast to be told it would be another £12 which we could pay in the morning.

Room was clean. TV did not work. We had a room on the road side of the hotel and the noise was simply unbearable. Even with windows closed there were amplified exhaust noises, people screaming, no way you could have the window open but certainly not quiet with it closed either. Bed was just ok. Very little sleep was enjoyed.

We read that the breakfast could be quite scant so weren’t willing to pay extra. In the morning, the staff just said ‘put the keycards in the slot’ - no attention to detail at all.

Bar was unstaffed as you have to ask reception staff.

Seriously £145 for what should have cost £50 max?!

Booked this Ibis as I have an Accor membership and use their hotels regularly. Early check in was available for £10 extra which I thought was great as we needed to be ready and out somewhere for 5pm so I added this to my booking. We arrived at the hotel around 12:30 and were looking forward to getting into our room after our train journey. The staff member on the desk was too busy looking at her phone to acknowledge that we had arrived, after a few moments she said hello and I explained we were looking to check in, she said check in wasn't until 3pm so I advised we had booked early check in (which I thought she might have asked before assuming we had arrived way too early!). Got checked in and given our keys, room on the 3rd floor - room was very basic but this was not a surprise. After being out we retired to bed around 11pm and the noise outside the hotel from the traffic seemed really loud so I assumed the window could have been left partly open or maybe a vent open? I checked the window and found that it was fully closed so hoped that once the heavy curtain (that was filthy all down one edge) was over it that the noise may not seem as bad but it didn't make any difference. Rooms poorly soundproofed as we could hear multiple people coming in and out of their rooms, doors shutting etc. during the early hours. Traffic noise continued in the early hours too and I can honestly say it was the worst nights sleep I've ever had in a hotel. No hand towels in the room either which wasn't ideal when I went to dry my hair the following morning. Wouldn't recommend this hotel if you are bothered by noise inside the hotel and traffic noise outside.
