An excellent budget hotel within easy reach of Manchester City Centre. Better than chain hotels at a similar price, family run and owned, helpful and friendly staff. Can't go wrong here! Good buffet breakfast, reasonable priced menu for evening meals and vast quantity portions!

Spacious room, comfortable bed and an excellent breakfast. Easy to reach with private car park. Helpful reception staff. Quiet overnight in the hotel but ring road busy all night. Highly recommended..

Booked as a large group, half of us got newly refurbished rooms and the other half old rooms. The new rooms were good no complaints there, however the old rooms were old, dirty and smelly. The general cleanliness of the hotel was not great and the food and drink in the vending machine was out of date. Would not use...

Step up from a travelogue, good value for money, especially the breakfast. Good variety and as much as you could eat, tasty bacon and sausage. Fresh roses on the table were a nice touch. Staff were friendly. The rooms were clean and comfortable with TVs, drinks and free wifi. Enjoyable stay.

Great hotel was surprised as it was cheap we wasn't expecting much, but how it did shock us. Great value for money staff were great/polite and a excellent breakfast choice. Would definitely stay here again.

We ended up booking this hotel when visiting Manchester for a friends birthday. We weren't looking for a luxury stay - just a reasonably priced hotel with convenient parking for a number of cars. The hotel was good for this purpose. I was impressed by the powerful warm showers and by the very large (42"?) wall mounted flat screen TVs...

stayed here weekend of 16/12, nice clean room, comfy bed, TV tea and coffee essentials etc so great for what we wanted. Went to s show in town, about £10 in a taxi, then came back and went for a takeaway down the road. Hotel was very quiet when we went o bed. We were woke up at 5am by...

A safe clean room at the fraction of the cost of hotels nearer the city. Comparable to a Travelodge type room, of similar size with TV, free wifi and a breakfast thrown in too. It is served by regular buses (15 mins into the centre) that run til late, allowing a night out in the city.
