Located in the heart of Manchester’s bustling trendy city centre. Close to great bars and restaurants. The hotel itself is very nice and is similar to all other Travel Lodges. Check in was easy and the receptionists were lovely and smiley. Once I’ve received my key card I

if you walk into the center (15 mins away) you can get a tram straight into the grounds outside the stadium. alternatively the Travelodge in Ashton under Lyne has a tram stop 4 minutes away from the hotel which is a 15-20 minutes journey into the grounds again :)

As far as I am aware the etiad stadium is in a different area of Manchester. If you phone the travelodge in question they should be able to advise you better. I've only attended events in the MEN arena when staying here, sorry,
