Manchester is undoubtedly one of the most expensive cities in Europe with regards to accommodation, countless times have I paid over the odds for a hotel when visiting. On this occasion we decided to look just outside of the centre and found the well-situated bargain of a hotel 'The Rams Lodge'. A family run business, we met both the mother...

We stayed here over the bank holiday weekend to attend a gig at the O2 Ritz in Manchester. The hotel was a bargain at £55 a night and only a few miles from the centre (can't complain!). We got an Uber taxi that cost us £7 which was extremely reasonable. The hotel it's self attract students and has a wide...

We booked this at £60 per room per night . £6.00 would have been to much. This was the most horrendous place iv ever staid in. We put a chair against our door and so did our friends as the doors didn't lock, and slept with the light on. We felt like we had walked into a crack house. Filthy...

This has got to be one of the worst hotels I have been to. It should be described as a doss house it smelt, was freezing and dirty and I do not think it was dirt cheap to have received that standard I would not recommend this hotel to anybody ever. Who ever owns this hotel is only about making...

We stayed here for work and I must say it is the most dirty run down place we have ever visited. And wished I had read the reviews before we booked. Dirty walls carpets and bedding. Stay well clear. As we learned from this visit to check hotel reviews

My friend and I booked to stay here. We walked in and walk straight back out. It is horrendous!!!!!!!! The owner was scary. We asked for a refund and we did get it but they did not seem surprised that we were asking for one so it must happen a lot!

Seriously this is not a place to stay if looking a trip away from home. I reckon this place is ok for travellers or those staying at Pub or some event BUT not a family place. The reception is in the pub and the Bedrooms are at outside building which you access through hallway in pub (cold and needed them...

We stayed in this place on a Wednesday night as it's cheap and near the airport before flying off on holiday!. I've stayed in lots of hotels in this range as they're usually useful for cheap accommodation for a night out so feel i have some experience at what this range of hotel is targeting. The rooms are fairly clean,...

I stayed in this hotel for two nights, approaching Christmas time. I went out both nights and needed a cheap place with a bed I could stumble back to, obliterated, so I could make sweet unadulterated love to a smoking hot kebab (one of those in a naan bread rather than pitta, plenty of chilli sauce (no, not sweet chilli...
