Had a lovely stay the hotel is gorgeous and so is the pool . Breakfast in bed was also brilliant lots of choice Our stay was ruined by me leaving a swimming costume in the bathroom on the radiator , we called not even half a hour later to say i had forgotton it and it was on the radiator and could collect that day to be told it wasnt there and they would speak to the cleaner , called numerous times to be told they would speak to the cleaners , and then didnt get a reply to my last email complaint , the costume was over £200 so it was definately stolen so dont leave anything in the room !!!

Dear Jessie1994, Thank you very much for choosing to stay at King Street Townhouse during your recent trip to Manchester. I am glad to hear your positive feedback about our infinity pool and that you enjoyed your brilliant breakfast in bed. Unfortunately, I am left very surprised and disappointed upon reading your comments regarding our team. Perusal of our other reviews speaks very highly of all of our team members on how we strive to provide exceptional customer service for all our guests. Therefore, I feel that your review is not a true reflection of our standards that we uphold and pride ourselves on here at King Street Townhouse. I understand you contacted the hotel to inform us that you have left behind your swimsuit, our reception team immediately checked with our housekeeping team and then advised you that unfortunately nothing had been found in your room after your departure. Upon further investigation I am aware that you contacted us seven days later, whereby we then double-checked our lost property log and informed you in a timely manner that the only swimsuit we have in lost property is a white one, which you confirmed was not yours. We strongly reject the alleged theft of your belongings as all of our housekeeping team members have worked within our company for multiple years and we have faith in the professionalism in which the team performs their duties. We have stipulated a very precise lost and found policy that all of our colleagues strictly adhere to and I am confident after a full investigation, speaking with Senior Management, Departmental Heads and individual team members that such an incident did not occur. Thank you again for your feedback. Kind regards, Jenny Oh General Manager

With all of our holidays being cancelled this year due to COVID, we booked a two night stay at King Street Townhouse to relax and have a break from what has been an awful year. What a good choice this place was. The staff were absolutely amazing. Faultless from check in to check out. Our room wasn’t ready on arrival but we were a little early so was no big deal. The young guy on reception was great and sorted us with a card to access the pool at our pre-booked time. The pool was amazing and one we were done our bags were already in our room. The room was great, good views of the skyline and town hall. The espa products and Reed diffusers smell great. We had a hot rainfall shower, which was amazing and headed out for the evening. The next night we booked the pool again. It was even better at night time, although the water was a little bit cold. We had breakfast in bed both days which was lovely. So relaxing. There was a slight issue with the breakfast on the last day but the team sorted it all out and knocked it off our bill. They couldn’t have done enough. Great customer service. We came home with our batteries completely recharged. I would really recommend this place.
