I booked a screening room package for Valentine's day for me and my girlfriend and what can I say... the whole experience was amazing! From my initial contact through to the day itself, it was all very well organised and the team were very accommodating. Amy was extremely helpful from my initial enquiry through to arranging the details for the night. And Ismail who looked after us on the night serving our food and drinks was very polite and attentive whilst not intruding on our night, which we really appreciated. I had paid extra for the room to be decorated and even that went above and beyond my expectations! They really understood that I was trying to make the experience romantic and it paid off. We had a lovely evening.

I have to also say that the package was really good value for money considering it included exclusive room hire, food, drinks and snacks! We will definitely be back in future and I have already recommended the service to friends. Thank you for making our night special.

What a lovely Boutique Hotel in a great location.

Only a 10-15 minute walk from the Train Station, we were greeted to a lovely warm welcome and our bags stored as we were an early arrival.

When we came back, the room was ready on the first floor, I was expecting it to be noisy in the location it was, it was right next to the staircase and lift but was pleasantly surprised. The room was like a Tardis! You entered the room into a hall way, where there was a wardrobe and coat rack. You then went through another door into the bathroom which had a large walk in shower, a bath and a separate toilet. There was then a sliding door that went into the bedroom. Lovely large comfy bed, great pillows! It also had a seating area and a desk. Complimentary coffee machine and kettle, however the bottled water is not complimentary which I would expect from a 4 star Hotel. We were left a lovely birthday plate for my husband's birthday with a piece of brownie on.

We headed up to the Rooftop pool which was a very nice additional touch for a City Centre Hotel, you can even get drinks brought up from the bar. There was also a Sauna but it was cold so couldn't use that. There was a relaxing area with loungers and fresh water but no cups to put the water in. There were also changing facilities and showers. Overall a great facility for the Hotel.

We didn't opt for breakfast with us being in such a central location so can't comment on that. The location is perfect for shops, bars, restaurants and the Christmas Market. Everywhere is just within a short walk.

We did have a quick drink in the bar after check out which was a lovely chilled environment.

All in all a wonderful Boutique Hotel that I would highly recommend.

We had the most wonderful stay at King Street Townhouse! From the moment we arrived, every staff member was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The rooms were beautifully designed and truly cosy—perfect for a relaxing getaway. The deep bath is an absolute dream, and a visit to the infinity pool on floor 7 is a must-do, even if just for a quick dip with those stunning views.

The location is unbeatable for a city centre stay—close enough to walk to all the best spots but tucked away just enough that noise is never an issue. There are a few signs of wear and tear (door handles, chips on furniture, and a wonky toilet seat), but if you don't look too closely, it's definitely worth the money.

We can't comment on the breakfast... because the bed was so comfy, we slept right through it! As locals, this was the perfect staycation for us, and we will absolutely be returning—whether for another night away or just to pop in for coffee or lunch.

Definitely recommend!

A perfectly located luxurious hotel with super amenities and cheerful, friendly staff. Each room is stylishly decorated with all the necessities needed for an over night stay. The beds are extremely comfortable with luxurious bedding and pillows. The bathrooms equipped with delightful Espa toiletries and thick fluffy towels. Mini bar and coffee making facilities are also included in your room (mini bar at additional cost) the hotel offer late check out subject to availability. You are guaranteed a peaceful nights sleep here due to the lay out of rooms therefore, limiting the noise level passing through communal corridors. Staff are always at hand and are only too happy to help. The perfect addition to our stay was the roof top pool and use of the hotels spa thermal facilities. We will definitely return. A massive thank you to Georgia Kyriacou who ensured a perfect stay.

My husband and I booked treatments for ourselves. The treatments cost over £300 for both of us and due to this amount we expected premium and luxury. The spa is beautifully furnished but unfortunately that is the most it had to offer. The relaxation room was joined with 2 rainfall showers, a cold seating area and the salt room. And next to this large room are the steam room and sauna. The hotel does have a pool but this does not count as a facility that can be used when you pay for a treatment.

After our separate treatments we learned that we both experienced the same predicament. The masseuses didn’t seem as experienced as you’d think they would be for a £160/£170 massage. It seemed as though they had just cleared their college level course and performed to the best of their understanding. Unfortunately during my session my masseuses phone went off as well which did not add to the premium and luxury feel of the hotel and spa. For my husband he also felt his masseuse lacked the experience for the quality of massage we paid for.
All in all I would not recommend the spa, it’s extremely small, cramped and was not worth the amount that we paid.

We traveled specifically to Manchester for the roof top pool we was not made aware that the outdoor pool was closed when I made this booking.

The room I paid for was not the best it stated I would have a bath there was no bath.

We paid x amount of money for 60min massage for the next morning to be told that they had changed out times to 45 mins separate appointments. Didn’t not even mention about having my 15min x2 refund back as the 45 min massage are £90 and the 60min are £115 so there was our massage cancelled.

We got told that the 4 cocktails we had that night and the chocolate bar from the mini bar in the room would be free for the inconvenience to them travel home and have them take it off my deposit.

We did get told we would get a email for discount if we was ever to book again but this email is no were to be seen.

I wouldn’t recommend anyone to stay at this hotel.

There was our lovely 10 year anniversary well spent.

Dear 548abbier, Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review following your recent stay with us at King Street Townhouse. I am so sorry to hear that your stay was not up to your expectations, this is very disappointing to hear. I am aware that the team reached out to every guest prior to arriving regarding the pool closure and also gave them an opportunity to cancel if they wished to do so. It is disappointing to hear that you were also not happy with your room, this is feedback that we very rarely receive. As for the cancellation of your Spa Treatments I am so sorry to hear that, it was due to spa sickness. I am aware you were offered a full refund for your massage and a complimentary return which we do hope that you take us up on in the future. As for the email about the discounted stay, this was offered, but I understand this was at a slight delay which I can only apologise for. It is sad to hear that you would not recommend us, but we do hope that maybe at some point in the future you reach out and take us up on your complimentary treatments and discounted stay! For any future reservations, please contact me directly at Georgia.Kyriacou09@thg.com and I will ensure you are personally looked after. Warmest regards, Georgia Kyriacou Guest Relations Manager

The afternoon tea itself was lovely. Very good value for money and presented beautifully. Everything we had tasted amazing and the pastry chef is very talented. The sandwiches had been allowed to come to room temperature which is correct. We’ve been to other places where they were served straight out of the fridge and very cold, this impacts the flavour and the bread.

The service was good but the room is quite dark and was virtually empty so aside from the great playlist it did lack a little in atmosphere.

What makes this a four star review and not five:-

They sat me and my daughter beside each other. This was a little odd and isn’t great when you want to have a conversation face to face.

We had to ask for milk.

The table setting was quite basic. The sugar wasn’t in a sugar bowl but was the little sachets in a holder like you’d get in a coffee shop. This is fine but at other places we have been for afternoon tea the table settings have just been more special with a proper sugar bowl.

Summary: We would definitely return because the food was lovely. The ratio of sandwiches to sweets was also great. It was the right balance and I have to say the staff that served us were all really lovely.

From the moment you walk into the KSTH you feel welcome, calm and cared for. The staff are attentive and kind. The decor is beautiful, a mix of modern with traditional that makes you feel immediately at home. The rooms themselves are quiet and beautifully furnished. The bed itself is comfy, large and soft (but not too soft!)

The pool and the sauna, steam room areas are beautiful too, and never busy because they thoughtfully limit numbers.

I think this is the best hotel in Manchester, far superior to others that claim to be better. They are not. The KSTH is small and wraps around you as you enter from the hustle and bustle of the busy streets outside!

One word…PERFECTION

I always had a dream of proposing to my partner, but I wanted to do it in a unique way. I got in contact with Georgia from King Street (who is the Guest Relations Manager), she helped my dream come to life for my partner and I, it was simply amazing!

I had the private cinema room booked out to show a film for us that I had made. From start to finish Georgia answered all my questions and also helped me with the whole process. I was able to customise the entire room in whatever colour scheme I preferred, and Georgia also supported me in decorating the whole room, getting my flower choice ready and also a bottle of bubbly to celebrate! (See attached photos!)

When my partner and I arrived, we were guided towards the screening room in a professional manor, non of the staff gave away my secret which made everything extra special! Once we were in the room, Georgia was present acting cool calm and collected which also helped my nerves!!

Once the proposal was complete, Georgia gave my fiancé and I some time in private to celebrate, my partner was beyond happy with how the whole thing had been planned out, and this was all credit to Georgia.

King Street Townhouse are truly blessed to have such a hardworking individual who puts 110% into everything she does, making the events she plans perfect.

Thank you again King Street Townhouse, and of course, thank you Georgia!!!

We will most certainly be back, please make sure the bubbly is on ice ready!

What an amazing place! When traveling for work to find such an oasis is a gift. From the moment you walk through the door, the staff is anticipatory and kind. I cannot say enough about the rooms! The bed is wonderful, but the rainwater showerhead, we all agreed it was the best thing we’ve ever experienced. The towels are big and soft and smell good, and they’re warmed on a warming rack! Very nice touches in the room to make it feel warm and welcoming. The staff fantastic! We had an event there they were attentive, the food was amazing, and every detail was attended to. Whether going for business or pleasure I totally recommend recommend this hotel.
