booked this hotel because of the convenience to the station which we had read about through these reviews. very handy to wheel suitcases across the area from station to hotel. Booked a larger room, very spacious and comfortable - also quiet. it is an older hotel but for the price it was most acceptable. staff very helpful

We stayed here a couple of nights and it was situated 2 minutes walk from the station and 5 minutes walk from the sights. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the room although basic and small it was very clean. The surrounding area is a bit dodgy with very unsavory people sitting and sleeping on the footpath. There... More

Located a walking distant of 100 yards from the Gare, this hotel provides excellent service with a large quiet room. The rooms are very clean, spacious and have updated bathrooms. The location allows for short walks to city center and if arriving in winter months that means closeness to the "Winter Christmas Market". Breakfast are plentiful and free. The city... More

We stayed here for one night - a Saturday. The hotel is 200 metres from Strasbourg main railway station. We had rooms on the third floor. One room overlooked a courtyard - the other a road. We heard very little noise all night. The rooms - especially the en-suite could do with modernising. They are a little "worn". The bed... More

I booked the GH on location and price. It is just across from the station, and 12 minutes walk from the cathedral. Booked a room on ahigh floor, side street and achieved quite a quiet setup The lobby is quite arty and the lifts are modern. To be honest the rooms are a bit shabby, but clean - especially the... The Grand Hotel in Strasbourg if directly across the square from the train station, an easy walk even with a suitcase or two. It's also a stone's throw to a pedestrian street that leads directly into the tourist area of the town. Restaurants and shops and small groceries are plentiful in the area. Our room was clean, spacious enough and... More

Fairly old hotel although location great - opposite railway station. Staff friendly, breakfast average ( nothing fantastic), very basic mini bar, no welcoming bottle water or facilities to make a hot drink in room. Bed comfortable.

A nice hotel with a great location in Strasbourg. This is an old renovated hotel with a freindly and nice staf. The room was large and had aircon, safe and mini bar. You can park nearby for only 11€ a day. The breakfast is average and you can sit outside on the terrace 😊 the hotel offers great value for... More
