Perfect location, outstanding service and warm atmosphere. We enjoyed a romantic weekend at this hotel. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Upon our arrival they told us they had upgraded our room to a bigger suit and in fact the room was absolutely perfect. Definitely

The D inexplicably stands for Diana but it could also stand for dark, dirty, damp or depressing. We were drawn in by the 600+ “excellent” reviews, don’t fall for the same thing. We were welcomed yesterday by THE least enthusiastic receptionist of all time and given the key for

Dear Gérald , How lovely it is to hear from you... :) It is always very important for us to have the feedback of the clients also if they are not what we expect. Dark, Dirty, Damp or depressing, that’s all?? I was expecting a little more from you specially when I look at your profile and see how hard you are to satisfy… Here is the title of your last comments on Tripadvisor: “Truly Awful”, “The worst coffee in the history of coffee”, “Catastrophic”, “The worst restaurant I have EVER been to”….Whoooo! As you said I am glad that you noticed the 600+ “excellent review”…So what? The entire tripadvisor community is stupid? And why giving us 3 point out of 5…Why not giving just 1?...You’re too kind, thank you for that one. Your room has been checked by 3 different person and nobody noticed the smell…However as a gesture of goodwill we offered you 2 other rooms with an upgrade on top. I am not used to do that but let me tell you one thing: You have been a very difficult guest with extremely bad manners. Next time rather than pretending a very bad smell to get an upgrade, just pay for it. I would suggest you to choose another hotel while visiting Strasbourg on your next trip. Regards, Emilie Guillou Hotel Manager

I selected this hotel at the last minute as I had a poor experience at another property in Strasbourg. This hotel greatly exceeded my expectations. Checkin was straightforward and friendly and they had mulled wine in the reception area which was a nice touch. I was checking in

This was a gorgeous hotel. We had a deluxe room, which had a very large bed, seating area, desk, bathroom, separate WC for toilet. We had windows that faced the street and opened--not a balcony but the feel of one (if it had been warmer, that would have been nice). Bed was very

The location (15 minutes walk from train station, and 10 minutes across the bridge into the old town centre) is pretty much perfect. The staff are friendly and welcoming, and the glass of mulled wine and slice of cake available at reception every day was a really nice touch. The
