As we were stranded at Biarritz airport at 9 o'clock at night, we were grateful to find a bed for the night at the Amatcho. The room, the bedding and the towels were clean and the shower hot. What's more, the family were really welcoming and helpful - including printing off our flight reservations on their computer. The breakfast was...

I needed a hotel right next to the rugby stadium for a business trip, and to that end the Amatcho was fine. It is right on the bus route from the airport (line C, ticket just 1Euro) so saved a load on a taxi fare, and the free wifi was a Godsend even if the signal was a little weak...

Since Ibis Budget, down the road, is up to over 70€ with taxes, we thought the street advertised 39€ Amatcho-Anton would suit the bill for our pass through of Bayonne. Turned out 39€ was for one person; 50€ for two! (American style pricing!). With overpriced breakfast and taxes, the bottom line was 62.80€ in this shoulder season! Should have gone...

Avoid this place at all costs - if your staying here then unbook/cancel or just agree to loose out on the payment. I really can't find anything worthwhile to say on this, "Hotel" and wish I'd stayed in the car and saved a few Euros. The room had an ensuite bathroom but you just don't fancy using the bath &...
