underground parking (located 100m before the hotel, so make sure you turn early enough (it's indicated, but the panel is rather small). Don't forget to ask the code to leave/re-enter the parking. Nice rooms, good restaurant, at reasonable prices. Only negative: the wifi is not always working ok (I guess they restrict the bandwidth too much, e.g. skype impossible with...

Typical Mercure hotel where everything was too much trouble Shower was detached from wall Only one English speaking TV channel and very suspect cleanliness Staff thought this was ok and acceptable Hotels that claim to have a number of stars should at least be clean and in good repair Feedback was given to the management who shrugged it off as...

On arrival at the hotel, we were advised that we had been upgraded to a room with a balcony. The room itself was fine, spacious and comfortable, but it was the lack of attention to detail which let the hotel down. We had Nespresso capsules in our room, but couldn't find a machine. When were enquired at reception, we were...

I was looking forward to our stay in Bordeaux. Our travel agent selected this hotel. We checked in with no assistance from Reception to provide guide maps or advice - understanding we foreign and did not speak French. Simply no offer to assist. Our room was spacious with a king size bed. The fitted sheets did not fit and were...

I booked this hotel because of its proximity to Saint Jean train station (about five minute walk) and what a mistake I made! We arrived around 10pm and there was no one at the reception. After a few minutes the receptionist appeared and checked us in. I mentioned to him about my accor gold status and politely asked if he...

We were pleasantly surprised by this hotel. Our room was very clean and comfortable, and we had a lovely balcony with a view of the city. We appreciated the Nespresso coffee maker in the room, and the fridge stocked with water and orange juice. The hotel staff, particularly Natalie, were very helpful in providing assistance with restaurants, etc.

Short walk from the train station. I found reception to be welcoming they gave me a map and i also bought tram tickets too. The tram stop is right out front of hotel and only 4 stops into the centre. €1.50 each way or €4.60 approx for a daily pass. My room was lovely recently updated I think on the...

We booked two nights at this hotel and were pleasantly surprised as it is not in the best part of town. The rooms were spacious and very clean, the bed and pillows most comfortable. It is a 5-8 minute walk to the train station and the tram stops no more than 50 metres from the hotel. Trams are very clean,...

I have been impressed by the hotel, easy to find arriving in Bordeaux from the North of the City. Modern, very clean, very well situated, well disserved by local transport, 20 minutes from the old town. 5 minutes from the railways station. Having a paying parking: very convenient. Good breakfast. Nice staff.

This hotel is wonderfully located with close proximity to the great tram system, and it also has basement parking facilities that are relatively secure. Upon entering the hotel I was struck by the distinctive aroma of new furnishings and carpets and paint! Three immaculately dressed female reception staff were seated behind the counter, and I was attended by one whose...
