First impressions is this place is like a motel from an American movie with roller shutters on the windows. However, room & bathroom were more than adequate, lovely and clean, crisp bed linen & towels. Air conditioning worked well too.
The front desk staff (day and night) were very polite and helpful, and also spoke good English. The bar area is limited but we had good service regardless. The continental breakfast was generous for €11, with plenty of fresh coffee, fruit juices, fruit, meat & cheese, cereals and all kinds of breads and pastries. The 2 waitresses were super helpful and friendly as well.
Location was great for main route access as well as the brilliant tram facility, which was €1.70 a journey into the centre of town.
Would definitely stay here again.

We had an ok stay here with no particular issues.

The hotel is rather like a motel where all the rooms are accessed from outside.

The room was quite small but to be fair we were only using it to sleep in and get dressed. There was a double bed, a desk, a desk chair, a tv and a small wardrobe area with some shelves. There is no safe box. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room.

The aircon was hit and miss - the room seemed to warm up really easily and we were boiling!

Only one towel per person! Shampoo in the shower. The shower is over a bath which is quite high so you’ll have to step over it to get in.
You will need 2 pillows at least to save your neck!

The room was made up every day and clean.

They have a large car park which is free.

Breakfast was good - croissants, pancakes, eggs, meats, cheeses, fruits etc.

We were able to sit outside in the evening which was pleasant but watch out of the mosquitos! Some of our legs were bitten badly!
They have a bar and a vending machine for water and cold drinks etc.

There is a tram that leaves from just down the road for the city.

For the price we paid, (£47 ) this is worth the money! Girl on reception very friendly and spoke good English. Room was on ground floor. It was basic..but clean and well equipped, shower particularly good. Good location for tram line into Bordeaux city centre...cost 1.80 in euro for ticket. Restaurant in hotel and one next door called hippopotamus, which we ate in which was also very nice.

This is a Motel, and not a Hotel as the name suggests.

The room can best be described as filthy; The carpet was dirty and completely black in places. Long black hairs were found in the bathroom.

The door to the room, leading directly out to the car park, had air gaps. The heating system was not working, so the room was cold and damp at night.

There are shutters for the window, however, these does not keep the light from the car park out. There’s no safe in the room to put your valuables.

The pink shaded light from the main light source made me wonder if the room could also be rented on an hourly basis.

On the positive side, the staff was very friendly and able to communicate in English, and the breakfast buffet was good.

I did not have the opportunity to evaluate the restaurant.

The restaurant is extremely expensive compared with food quality and crew. The hotel itself might to be ok for one night due to its destination very close to the airport, but the restaurant staff seems to be like stoned. Problems with billing, general behaviour etc. It's a joke?

we got a room in the back on the 2nd floor. getting there was awkward with a real danger to high people head's. room was clean - nice space on one side, but almost no space between the bed and the wall. strange entrance to the room room itself, only 2 towels.
Restaurant is nice with a great breakfast and nice meals after. not far away from Tram C to the city and not far a way from a nice shopping mall.

Excellent stay at clean well set up hotel in Bordeaux. Comfortable bed and reasonable breakfast. Great location near train and tram station. Very helpful staff at reception desk. Suggest you visit wine museum and at least one wine Château as it is well worth it!

Good for a stopover on a long journey purely to get a good night's sleep in a clean but very functional room.

The hotel itself is better than many other budget hotels in the surrounding area and was well maintained.

Our small dog was welcome too which is a definite plus if you're travelling with a small dog (up to 10 kilos).

However, this isn't Bordeaux itself and the bars and restaurants on offer (or any other places to visit) are extremely limited and definitely no fine dining options. Having said that, there is a tram into Central Bordeaux nearby.

All in all a perfectly nice place to stay if it's just somewhere to lay your head for the night. For the price it is good value.

If you want to be within 5 min of the train station this is your place. It's not next to any tracks so you don't hear the noise from te trams it the train and it's not directly in front do you're a bit away from the chaos of the station.
When you walk in you're greater with a clean, modern environment wih helpful staff. The Taft at the front desk can be a bit impatient at times esp if you only speak English but take you're time and you'll figure it out.
The rooms are clean, and the beds are firm and comfortable.
If I wanted to be near the train again I would def stay here. It's a 5 min train ride to the town center and there's a great little bakery around te corner and parking in the building.

The rooms could use a good renovation. Not very confortable and noisy. Toilets look old and towels were dirty.
The restaurant is nice has a fair buffet with a good price but the breakfast is too expensive.
Nice staff but the price does not match the expectations.
