The room that we got was on a tiny side. There was no much room to move around. Fortunately one luggage we didn’t need to open. 😀 Just for clarity I want to mention that we booked a room for 3 persons.

The room was cleaned and functional. There was a bit of a smell in the bathroom coming from the sewerage.

We tried the breakfast and it was a good idea because we didn’t want to walk around in the morning looking for another place. The offer was not extraordinary but you could find some type of cheese, salami, croissants, bread, pancakes…

The majority of the staff speaks a very good English although not all are confident in their skills.

They were nice to keep our luggage for an hour after checkout.

The hotel is by the lake and is in an area where there are more hotels and restaurants but no shops. Is very close to tram and reception can sell the tickets or you can buy them directly at the station.

OK, first of all this was a really nice hotel in a great location.

The hotel was a 2 min walk from the tram line which allowed east access to town.

There was air con (so good) and the room was a really good size.

Friendly staff and a good bar/restaurant/outdoor area.

The only thing letting it down was a blocked shower that caused a bit of flooding in the bathroom. Other than that it was really good and we wished we stayed another night

This hotel was one of a kind. We had a great vacation.
From the reception, to the comfortable rooms, to the restaurant! Everything was perfect.
Splendid receptionists! The room was renovated, clean, fresh, and the bed was phenomenal.
The restaurant was open and had great food! We ordered the chef’s famous burger which was delicious, and the entrecôte which was tender and nicely cooked.
This hotel deserves the hype.
10/10 !

Excellent value for money. Rooms were recently renovated with solid air conditioning, bathroom was superbly furnished.

Very polite and helpful staff. 25 mins to city centre from tram stop right outside the hotel. You will not get more for your money than this place, 100% recommend.

What a Horrible place, with a dirty smelly room and more than unpleasant staff.
Despite various complaints nothing was done to make our stay better. I would never to back to this hotel again and would certainly not recommend it.
Never again !

Hotel Le Provencal offered a delightful stay. The cozy ambiance, impeccable service by Jade at the reception, and delicious breakfast made it truly memorable. The rooms, decorated in a way that made me feel at home, added to the charm. Highly recommended for an authentic experience.

This hotel is located in a cluster of budget hotels near the Palais des Congres 6km outside Bordeaux. There is a tram stop nearby & it's just a short 20 minute journey into the city centre. We felt that our room & bathroom were a little small & cramped & the lighting was woefully inadequate. However, the bed was comfortable, we had our own air conditioning unit (not centrally controlled like most budget hotels), TV, kettle, good WiFi & decent breakfast. There was plenty of free parking on site.

On arrival we were greeted by a very welcome smile and a few welcoming words.
Check in was simple and straightforward the room was very clean and set out perfectly for an overnight stay. We asked for information on how to get into town and once again the staff were very helpful

Spent 3 nights at this hotel situated by the Bordeaux Lac. From the moment I arrived, I found the staff extremely friendly and took the time to explain how to get to the centre of the City using the frequent tram service. The room was clean and a comfortable bed. The bathroom was very clean, well appointed with a hairdryer and and soap. The buffet style breakfast bar was well stocked with hot and cold foods. Had two evening dinners all well cooked and enjoyable. The hotel is not 5 star but the staff could not do enough to ensure the stay was a pleasant one. I would certainly return.

Reception = beautiful.
It is downhill from there. Not sure why you would put so much effort into the reception then let the rest of the hotel be mediocre.

The lights are ridiculous. Dim and dingy. There was pastry on our carpet so obviously hadn't been cleaned. The aircon unit was so loud we couldn't sleep with it on. Doors slamming first thing in the morning woke us up. House keeping just walked into the room without knocking. Bar prices were a rip off. Bathroom was tiny, shower head didn't stay upright and kept falling down.
