I was on a motorcycle trip from Amsterdam to Morocco. On my way back I passed by Bordeaux and was really looking forward to it. I booked hotel Choiseul, paid, and said I'd be arriving late. They told me they would give me the code to the front door and leave my room open with the keys inside, because no...

This hotel has all the basics that you need. People are friendly and rooms are OK. I would stay at the hotel next time I visit Bourdeaux. The room was clean. It is very well located, you can walk to the city center. It is close to a metro station.

I stayed in a single room with no toilets and bathroom. One single bathroom was available and located on the top floor. The cleanliness was good and it was always available. The atmosphere of the hotel was not very good mostly due to the aged property, decorations and furniture. Not the kind of relaxing, happy or warm feeling one would...

Arrived in Bordeaux after a long trip and the front desk was closed. Waited outside for nearly half hour before going to another hotel to have them call the front desk. When I finally got into the hotel, the staff member was very rude, basically telling me he had better things to do than check in customers and that I...

The best thing about this hotel is its location, its slap bang in the middle of where you want to be to explore beautiful Bordeaux. The building is tucked away from the main road so its not too loud yet close enough to bars, restaurants etc. The owner made us wait with checking in until the time advertised (we arrived...

While Bordeaux doesn't really have hostels suitable for backpackers, the Hôtel Choiseul offers an affordable alternative at 36 euros/night (plus 6 euros for breakfast) for a single room. The rooms are quiet, beds are comfortable, and breakfasts are good. The hotel is close to everything (tourism office, waterfront, public gardens, trams, VCub bike share), but there are two issues to...

Great location for bordeaux, rooms were tiny, not very nice, needs renovation. WIFI only available downstairs, no breakfast but lots of shops around Overall great for a budget traveller though, everything you would need.

I was so happy to find his place, Bordeaux seems to offer hotels for business travellers only...but I didn't want to pay 50 euros per night. Hotel Choiseul offered a very decent price (34 Euros for single room with shared bathroom), the facilities are adequate and the location is very central. Staff were helpful too. Free Wi Fi is available...

Once in Bordeaux one wishes to stay as centrally as possible. Checked a couple of hotels but the prices were well beyond our budget. so it was quite fortunate to find this simple but adequate accommodation for a quarter of price. As a stop over this is excellent. No catering included but there is a WiFi facility. It is only...

This hotel was perfect, especially for the low price! (50 euro a night for 2 people.) We stayed there one night, and it is perfectly located right in central Bordeaux. Our room was at the top floor, so we had a lovely view of some of the city. Our room was cute and worked perfectly, it wasn't even especially small...
