Whilst our room had a lovely view over the port-vieux beach, our room was too small for any chairs to sit and enjoy it. We didn't dine in the hotel but received a complimentary breakfast* in compensation for the broken air conditioning. *Coffee with a roll and marmalade.

We visited Biarritz and Hotel Le Caritz in beginning of March. Unfortunately the hotel was a little disappointment, maybe because of my high expectations.. I had booked a room with a sea view for 3 nights in good time, but because our room was on 1st floor our view was on the terrace and bar's roof top terrace. I understand... More

Every evening after seightseeing we were able to put our feet up enjoy a glass of wine on the terasse of this hotel overlooking a small beach and watch the sunset with clear skies on barmy nights in early November. A spectacular setting. A warm welcome from the staff. A view of the beach and sea from our bedroom which... More

The hotel was good value for money and close to the beach but we experienced several issues. First, it was difficult to get up the tiny stairs with suitcases. I guess that explains the holes in the hallway walls. Then the room was tiny - I couldn't even open my suitcase tiny. The bathroom was mouldy. Looks like it needs... More

Room was clean and well organized. rRoms are connected to the sharable terrace which has some dining tables and sunbeds. The most interesting thing is that I can see the ocean from the terrace! Fresh morning with a cup of coffee viewing the ocean is unforgetable memory.

We stayed for one night in the hotel and everything was perfect – the room was clean and nice, the view on the ocean amazing, the staff was really friendly and helpful and the breakfast was rich with a great selection of food. The location of the hotel is amazing as you can walk everything by foot and there aren't... More

Average hotel, okay value for the price paid (seaview compensated) but the room stinked like mould and/or sewage. Would not have stayed any longer. Wifi worked well, some sunbeds on the terrace, good location in old town close to small public beach.

Found this hotel by chance - literally stopped in street outside when looking for a hotel - they had rooms! It's more of a restaurant and bar with rooms - and we loved it! Tiny reception desk in corner of bar - and no 'hotel lounge' area as such. Had room on first floor, which had large opening windows allowing... More

Stayed at hotel le Caritz during the first weekend of August '13 for 3 nights. The hotel is centrally located, literally a 1 min walk and you are on the beach (the smaller of Biarritz' 2 main beaches). The rooms were well kept and clean, as far as I remember I slept we'll so the bed must have been comfortable.... More
