This hotel is in a great, central location for Biarritz restaurants and bars and ten minutes walk from the grand plage. The rooms and common areas are old but charming, the bedrooms small but clean and adequate. There's a small lift (max of two people) or winding staircase to access the rooms - we were on the third floor, so...

We stayed two nights at hotel Atalaye. Although it is very well located, our room was small very old fashioned and not practical at all: useless furnitures taking up all the room and only 1 power point. The bathroom was covered in mould and again not practical. Finally the hotel didn't provide any assistance with parking which is a pain...

The hotel looks very nice from the outside, but the rooms have seen better days. Try to get a room as high up as possible. I had a room on the first floor, and I could hear everything that was said in the front desk, one floor below. Some rooms do also have a very odd design. My room, a...

we stayed here for 2 nights, the location is great, a short walk to the beach. Our room was comfortable , the decor was very dated and there was a musty smell however it was clean and serviced daily. Breakfast was expensive for what we got, I would suggest getting food in one of the nearby shops for breakfast.

I stayed here two days ago at the end of a hiking holiday on the Camino. Paid 45Euro for a single room, which I thought was excellent value. Biarritz is so expensive, and this hotel is ideally located, 2 minutes to a stunning beach and the street is littered with other hotels and cafes, and 2 minutes to all the...

A very comfortable old hotel with very friendly helpful staff. Because it was so relaxing I stayed three days longer than intended. Room was large, separate bathroom with great deep bath and everything works. Breakfast and wifi available.

The view from the room overlooked the ocean--beautiful. The inside of the room is a different story. The carpet is questionable and bathroom tiny. I was honestly afraid to sleep on the bed, however when one is tired one can sleep anywhere. This tiny hotel did not have air conditioning and it is in a great location, but really the...

This Hotel was by far the worst in customer service and pricing. It is extermely over priced for what they offer and they lie about the room cancellation requirements as well as have no customer service skills. When I called the hotel in May to find out about rooms, I was told that they needed a credit card on file...

It is very surprising because these people have stayed at the hotel.

It's hard to believe that such a lovely little hotel that is so ideally located could be so reasonably priced. The balcony overlooking the ocean was enchanting, and the staff was always friendly and helpful. The climate was such that, although it was warm enough to go swimming, the ocean breeze coming into the room made air conditioning unnecessary. The...

We paid 70 euro to stay in one of the smallest, outdated hotel rooms I have ever experienced. It was old and dirty enough for my girlfriend and I to check the bed for bed bugs, and sure enough we found stains and excrement all along the mattress box spring. Upon calling management, they told us the bed was simply...

“My room (no.6) was behind the management sitting room and was basically on the ground floor, so I couldn't open the window at night, but I am sure other rooms have a good view.”

“Do NOT reserve a room here unless you want to be charged for a room / service you never stayed in nor used. This hotel preys on travelers and makes you put down a credit card before you stay so that they have it on file to steal money from. One sentence to best describe them-Theiving, Liars, Fraudulent, Dispicable and lowest of the LOW-Lifes”
