Stayed here two nights whilst touring Dordogne & visiting Bergerac. Typically French hotel on the outskirts of town. Very nice gardens with a small swimming pool,so tranquil & relaxing. Our room was a double en suite, compact but perfectly fine for a 2 night stay. Delicious food in the restaurant in the evening, & breakfast was the standard French petit...

We love this hotel. It's so French. It's 2K out of the town centre but it is only a 25 minute walk up one road so it's easy to eat in town and have a drink and walk back. We did eat in the hotel twice too and the food is wonderful. There's a carte and a menu = both...

With the only flight from Bergerac in France to Southampton in England cancelled owing to fog, Flybe had a problem on their hands . They had to look after the 30 or more passengers who were stranded at the airport until hopefully they could be flown home the following day. I was in the group of fairly disgruntled people as...

We found Bergerac difficult for accommodation and found this place via internet search on the day - we had a hire car so the 15km from town was nothing. The room was OK with over sized wooden beds but clean and comfortable. The en-suite was a good size as well. The grounds are lovely with plenty of parking. The staff...

Recommended by our Chambre d'hôte, because if it's proximity, but their assurance of an excellent meal. Thoroughly enjoyed the choice, main and dessert were delectible. Amuse bouche to start. Excellent fund, superb quality. Others staying with us were intending to return for a repeat dinner, others were looking forward to a wedding the following weekend at the same hotel. We will return

Beautiful surroundings and lovely old house on the edge of Bergerac. This was our 5th or 6th visit to Bergerac and booked at the last minute so we were pleased to find this lovely place of calm. We saw a mother and baby deer in the grounds which was delightful. There are plenty of little nooks and crannys to sit...

Lovely hotel with very nice, well-appointed, clean rooms and not expensive. Staff friendly & helpful. Food excellent with good service. It would be improved by rooms having air conditioning which would help sleep quality. Main problem was service - only one person was at reception and had to do everything. She was very good & helpful, but had to leave...

“We asked for a large double bed which we were glad for as it was so hot at night. Our room looked over the front so had no noise from the road.”
