The hotel is described as being an old coaching inn. We are at the moment in bed seriously considering using ear plugs in order to get to sleep! No fault of our neighbours, it is just that the walls are so thin we can hear all the things that you really don't want you neighbours to hear! The room is... More

French hotel owned by elderly persons, staff only speaks French (was to be expected), but very forthcoming. I forgot my breakfast and they warned me they would start cleaning-up. Bathroom could have been cleaner, WIFI was very fast.

The hotel is in a great location for visiting the beautiful town of Pau, especially during the Pau Grand Prix Classic event. Just a short walk to the event and easy parking. We were a family of 4 and had the family room, with two young children In bunk beds and the room was clean and warm... The owners a... More

Pau is halfway between my start point and my home in Spain, so a hotel in the centre of town near a restaurant is just what I need to overnight during my journey. Pau is a pretty market town with a great market (Les Halles) and I enjoy stopping here. The hotel is small, but the beds are clean and... More

This hotel is the perfect spot for anyone who is taking part in an Etape du tour which departs Pau. The hotel is basic, clean and quirky with Madam running the show, Monseuir getting in the way and the daughter (I think?) looking after breakfast and translating for the likes of me who's french is basic! The room was well... More

It's an odd hotel, but it's a nice location in Pau and has free parking. Our room was clean and exactly what we needed as a base for the night as we were going to the mountains in the day. I'd recommend it to those looking for a place that is cheap and comfy to spend the night, free parking... More

This quirky hotel is in a great location in Pau, just a few minutes' walk to the chateau and other sites. The small room was very basic, but reasonably clean. We asked how much it would cost for two cups of coffee, as we didn't want breakfast, were told to help ourselves, but then were charged 8 euros. There is... More

A nice little hotel in not a bad location. I had a room with a little balcony, which wasn't too noisy, despite facing the main road. The TV was the bonus - the biggest telly I have ever seen in a small hotel. The bed was comfy - there were enough blankets and pillows. They had wi-fi :) and a... More

The hotel is cheap, but entirely suitable for what were our needs, somewhere to stay in Pau,during the etape 2010. Extremely safe, even organised an early breakfast for all the cyclists. If the etape ever goes to Pau again (a certainty) this is a great place, location and not too expensive either

Walked in off the street on the strength of a Lonely Planet listing, not having read previous Trip Advisor reviews. Briefly, the hotel is relatively cheap, well positioned, and has ample parking around the square where it stands. However it was the only place we stayed in France this time where we experienced positively rude treatment from the chap at... More
