This is a nice flat site which had reasonable shade and most pitches spacious with hedge. Beach literally across the road. Good facilities with toilet paper, hot water and excellent wi-fi coverage. Water taps were hard to find and sprayed all over the place. Small on-site shop with bread in morning, a restaurant/bar, swimming pool and children's playing area. Did not try the restaurant/bar. Bus stop to St Jean within 10-15 mins walk of site ... get advice from reception re. location and timetable... short trip into town. It is possible to walk to St Jean over a pretty good path -- takes about 30-35 mins and has a slopely start but not very demanding. Not all staff have good English but always try to help. There are two fairly attractive pubs / restaurants just outside the site. At times late night music, laughing and shouting --- may not wake one up but might make it hard to get to sleep.

Very good location next to beach. Some pitches quite small but the they do try to match you outfit to a suitable pitch. Reception staff very friendly and helpful. We booked by email a couple of days before we arrived and were glad we had as site was full even in second half on September. 2.5 km walk on good path to St Jean De Liz.

Stayed here for 2 nights towards the end of August 2018. Site was still quite full and I would expect it's a bit manic in high season. Not much seclusion between pitches. Facilities were fine. Great beach but not dog friendly. Easy'ish walk to town, a bit further and longer than advertised, but 30-35 mins should do it. Nice couple of restaurants and bars right outside campsite, Good food and reasonably priced.

Great location next to the beach with two great restaurants nearby. Ask for a pitch in the middle of the three sections and you avoid the mentioned noise. Great beach and a 10 minute cycle into St Jean de Luz. The beach next to this campsite is less busy than the one in St Jean de Luz and the sunset is beautiful. Joined in on the entertainment one night which was great fun. We don't have children but the kids entertainers looked great and children of all ages were enjoying the party. Small shop onsite but cash only and limited items. Had electric for our campervan. Clean toilets and showers.

It is a noisy site but we werent too bothered. Stayed there for 3 nights from 01/07/18. Our motorhome pitch was large and toilet facilities were good (not enough WC's though). We were two minutes away from a lovely beach bar and watched a partisan crowd enjoying France beating Belgium in the World Cup! We didnt do any campsite activities so cant comment. Site clean and kept well. However the ride to our pitch on the buggy was, too say the least, hairraising - VERY fast. The location next to the beach and various bars is a major plus and Saint-Jean-de-Luz is very pretty. Overall pretty good!

This site was unlike others we are used to as it was busy & noisy. That said, the reception staff were extremely friendly & helpful when we arrived to pitch up. We were offered free sangria & cheese on arrival - however we spent too long pitching to take advantage of this. Our pitch was right next to the toilet block which made it busy but convenient- we didn’t us the caravan loo at all. There was a frequent smell of drains coming from the toilet block. The location right next to the beach is excellent. The kids loved the sea which seems fairly safe (lifeguards on duty all day - they were kept busy on one of the days when the waves were extremely big and crashing right at the shoreline). There is a busy bar at the beach which is right next to the bottom entrance to the campsite. It had a lovely atmosphere with lots of outside tables & music, often live at weekend and serving food all evening. Although this was very pleasant, I would not like to have been pitched right behind the bar & trying to sleep. The is a traffic free walking / cycling route from near the campsite over to the bays at St Jean de Luz and the lovely town. The walk would be approx 1/2 an hour, with lovely views on the way & a large variety of bars & restaurants to choose from in town. The splash pool & swimming pool weren’t used very much by our kids due to the proximity to the beach. The pool has a sliding roof and as such can be covered or open air.

This place could be magical ..however Of all the places we booked on our trip this was THE one we thought would be the best. Split into 3 sections , the further 2 being camping pitches, it would seem a perfect location beside the beach , not great size pitches but was shown our site before we set up. Then it started, Bob Marley. Now, I love a bit of Bob,in my youth... I even had a tshirt. Alas 5 straight hours later I was beside myself , then I was treated to 3 hours of Spanish music , of which I’m very partial too but there was no escaping this. This is piped out so half the beach and a full third of campsite can hear nothing else. Sadly the other 2 parts are covered by the other beach bar( great food and one night amazing live duo) or on site restaurant animation. Not shown on map , please see my realistic additions to their map. I did pray at 11 pm as per other French sites it would subside, not on your life... Johnny Cash, 60’s American kicked it till 12.45. Then the cars/ mopeds , bottle emptying , finally 2 cats had a massive sword fight at 1.30 before it went dead. Now this sounds bad enough, I sound a misery, I’m not , I love to boogie but the turning point was truly the beach hotels kitchen extractor fan blowing all that lovely prawns / seafood and chip fat air into our motorhome for hours and hours and hours. Plus the tannoy announcing next order ready, every 20 minutes. Sadly none of this was going on when we checked in, the smell starts late afternoon . This place should be fabulous , it sadly isn’t. The noise from the car park which sits directly behind the first line of sites was truly awful. The smell from kitchen fans blights the last third of campsite first line. If you are away from these areas you have a 50/50 chance of some sleep after 12.30. It also lies in a dip behind beach so no lovely sea breeze, pretty sweaty. No security spotted, we’ve moved first thing but still atrocious noise from people leaving car park. As do another British family who were offered our old spot, they gave up and left. Final night some awful thing terrorising a bull round an arena just across from reception, 2 nights a week. On a plus the showers: facilities etc actually ok. The beach is shingle and drops off so not super kid friendly, take beach slip on shoes. Will not return to this site, such a missed opportunity. Please see map with additions they don’t show.

Really good location, minute walk to pretty pebble beach and 5 min drive from beautiful beaches at saint jean de luz centre. However, there is a bar on the perimeter of the campsite which on sat/sun night (when we stayed) which played VERY loud music DJ til 2AM - then drunken singing til after 3AM. Great if you want to party - awful for peaceful family camping. Also pitches very close together, lots of radios, shouting, phones etc until all hours. Might be okay off season but I wouldn’t stay at this site again just for the continued noise pollution.

This is a campsite, reasonable size pitches with electricity and water nearby. These are grass pitches therefore if wet there is always the chance of a little mud to the edges of the pitch. The usable area of the pitch is well grassed and mown regularly. The toilets and washing facilities are basic but always clean. There is a restaurant and morning bread shop on site plus there is a small hotel nearby with a reasonable restaurant as well. It's relaxing and with the sound of the sea at night to send you to sleep it's quite therapeutic. There is a beach café quite close and in the high season I suspect you will hear their music and laughter well into the night. The site is literally a stones throw from a very pleasant beach and this beach is also known for its surfing. Cost wise was reasonable in June and we used an 'ACSI Card' however you will need to check with the site as to costs in high season plus I suspect it will be very advisable to book a pitch in advance. The area is lovely and you are very close to the Spanish border if you are looking for a few supermarket bargains. Last but not least there are chalets on the site so if you are not camping with tent or caravan these may also be available.
