we stayed ten days in this hotel, the room was really small, look really old, the staff was good and friendly, we ask for slippers and bathrobe as it was not in the room as standart but they gave it to us anyway. The best part is the breakfast, very nice choice and very tasty. We had a few room service... More

Stayed for just one night on business. Was impressed with quick check in process, room key already prepared so took less than a minute. Parts of the hotel feel a little tired however room is ok with a decent bed, some pillow options and a good shower. Lacking a desk in the room however so not easy to work from.... More

This is now one of our all time favourite hotels. Fantastic location, and the rooms a wonderful, with excellent en-suite facilities, and a great breakfast. My only very small criticism is I'd prefer China cups and saucers in the room for tea and coffee, rather than the paper cups with which we were supplied.

My husband & I & our daughter & her boyfriend stayed at this lovely hotel from 24-31.08.16 as they were taking part in Ironman Vichy - the run part of the race came right by the hotel. Mercure Hotel – (Vichy, France) – Vichy is a nice town to use as a respite from hordes of tourists. It has parks, a river walkway, trees, shops, and no museums or tourists. The Mercure Hotel is one of few with parking, although their lot is open to anyone who needs to park in Vichy and is very expensive on... More

Thanks for your comment even though I think're you harsh on your way to note from your comments. I will control the air conditioning which of course can not return temperature of 20-25 ° when it's 37 ° outside. nice small hotel. The food at the restaurant was slightly disappointing. I was there in conjunction with the ironman. My room was clean, but with no safe. Did have one issue. We booked this hotel because of its location. We loved Vichy and it's really interesting. However, the hotel is tired and in need of some improvement. The bathroom was small and the toilet was in a very small room more like a cupboard. The room was fine but nothing special. It was listed as a superior room but there wasn't... More

We booked what was called a superior room. In fact after arriving at the hotel we where given their standard room. There is no such room as a superior room so be aware. The hotel receptionist told us there are only standard rooms and premium rooms. Of which we were not entitled to the later and there were none available... More
