Just returned and we are missing Le Gohic already! Our 5 and 2 year old loved the pool, Den and the freedom to explore. Lovely hosts and great cottages. We enjoyed relaxing on site in the serene gardens, mixed with day and half-day trips out. Plenty to see and do locally and loads of places to visit further afield. We...

Stunning place in a beautiful location. Surrounded by gorgeous grounds and scenery. The properties are a work of art. We really loved having the log fire to add to the coziness in the evening. Barry and Lucile are very welcoming and help with getting settled. Will be recommending to everyone I know.

We stayed in Le Gohic June 2016. It was excellent. Lucile and Barry were very warm, welcoming and relaxed. They were always on hand to offer help or advice and had great suggestions for things to do. Le Gohic strikes the balance of having enough facilities for the children whilst maintaining a beautiful and relaxing environment for the adults. The...

We have just returned from 2 weeks at Le Gohic and had a wonderful time, the hosts Lucile & Barry could not do more for you; fresh croissants & bread delivered to the door each morning. Lucile arranged my fishing permit before we arrived and booked restaurants for us and booked the vet for our dogs worming tablet before we...

Recently returned home from the most relaxing fortnight away over Easter with my husband and two children aged 6 & 8. We had originally booked to stay in Le Cidre, however we were given a free upgrade to Maison Principale due to some small building works going on that the owners didn't want us to be overlooked by. We thought...

We stayed here as guests of a very good friend of ours who invited 16 friends and family with 8 additional child guests for a celebration 40th birthday week. Le Gohic was perfect we occupied 4 of the 5 houses in the tiny hamlet. It was like an adventure park for the children with the pool, trampoline, swings etc but...

As per the other reviews, the hamlet is very picturesque and the houses well-equipped although we did have a few problems with TV reception (bit of an issue as it was Wimbledon and World Cup!). We basically took over the whole place with each family having their own house and then meeting up outside on the terraces when the weather...

Many thanks for the review. Readers might also want to bear in mind that the roads are very scenic and have very little traffic - except near the coast in the high season. (And all TV glitches are fully resolved ... )

Just home from a week at the beautiful Le Gohic gites. Thank you to Lucile (and Ruth in her absence!) for welcoming us. We stayed in La Marie with family friends (there were 4 of us adults + 3 children) and we had more than enough space and never felt on top of each other. The grounds are lovely and...

Just got back from a week at Le Gohic staying at La Marie cottage - It was perfect for us with our family of 4 (children ages 4 and 2) plus both sets of Grandparents. The Gite itself was amazing, really clean and had everything you would need plus a lot more. The gites are set in beautiful countryside each...

We just returned from two weeks in L'Ecurie cottage. I gave the property a "very good" rating for our stay in May 2011. It definitely deserves an "excellent" rating now. The new owners have settled in and continue to provide excellent accommodations. Rather than rewrite my review of last year, you can read it in the list below. I believe...

“We were fortunate to get a peek inside L’Écurie which is amazing inside and has a wonderful mezzanine which overlooks the giant fireplace. It is very spacious but we felt Maison Pricipale was a bit brighter & let in more light whilst still sharing the same lovely views as L'Ecurie.”
