I liked the hotel a lot--the room was good, the location was great. There was a problem one morning (25th Sep). Normally, the breakfast starts at 6 but on that day, when I went down at 6:45, the breakfast was not ready. So I went up to my room and went down again at 7:20 but the breakfast still was... More

The hotel has just gone through renovation and the room was very comfortable with new decor. Location wise very convenient if you are using trains, we had a car and parked in the multi-storey car park nearby - 10minutes walk away. Would definitely stay there again.

This was the third time for me to stay in this hotel.A few city hotel has bath tub in a room. You cannot miss Taxis just before the hotel. Not only hotel but also station was renovating.I prefer before-renovating hotel to present-style.Nice restaurants were only 5 minutes walk.I love post-card-city-center-view from the window of room.Taking 1 hour from Saint-Malo to Rennes... We had a new room, big, good location, nice bathroom, how could you complain to a brand new room, stayed here for 2 nights, each day is a perfect for our 2 days itineraries in Brittany and other neighboring beautiful places of Normandy and alike, at the end of the day very refreshing and had sleep throughout our stay, aside... Situated across the road from La Gare in Rennes (the train station). The hotel has just been renovated looking at the other pictures on here so is much more contemporary. Room was clean, spacious and very quiet. Usual tea/coffee making facilities along with large tv and the most comfortable bed I've slept in at a hotel :) I booked the... More

I had an overall bad experience. On my arrival, the receptionist asked me to show her the credit card which I used to pay the hotel in advance and she made a pre-authorization of 200 euros (200!) on it without asking me about that. As a result, those 200 euros were blocked for almost two weeks and I couldn't dispose... More

Stayed one night and we were so pleased with the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. We do not speak much French but the two young women on duty spoke fluent English and gave great service and advice on good restaurants and tourist attractions. Our room was spotlessly clean, well furnished and quiet. The breakfast was included in the room... More

Small but newly renovated and well located near train station. Sadly we came all the way from Paris to visit Mont St Michel to find only 2 buses a day and we missed the 12.30 bus and second one we could not get back that day. Devastated but had a reasonable stay and the town has lovely garden and some... More

We stayed for one night and chose this hotel due to its location near the train station and centre of town. The hotel is currently going through the final stages of a refurbishment with the main dinning room is not yet complete so breakfast was served within 3 little rooms. The breakfast was continental buffet style with everything you'd expect... More

The hotel is a typical 3 star hotel. Mattress and pillows are good, which is rare enough to mention! It is conveniently located and clean. Only downside, as always, is the breakfast. I'm having a hard time understanding why those hotels can't propose fresh products from local growers and producers, including good bread and croissants! Especially in France!
