I was back again with a small group for the third time and was not dissapointed. The hotel is ideally located in the centre of Saint_Malo Intra Muros. Rooms are nice and convenient. The breakfast is complete and offer crepes and locally made jam and Caramel au beurre sale. The team is great - the girls in the reception always have a suggestion for a local restaurant :) Thanks a lot and see you again next year.

We booked a room for a night in this hotel, the front of house welcomed us really well.
She was kind and polite, she even brought us to the hotel parking area to park our car and offered advise on where to dine.

The rooms were clean and comfortable and had sufficient space for us.

Overall we had a good stay in this hotel, it's prime location near to the city centre also made it easy for us to walk around the city.

We booked a night at this hotel at short notice in August, and were lucky enough to be given a triple bed room, which worked well for two friends. Service was exceptional, with a warm welcome and a recommendation for an excellent local seafood restaurant. The room was immaculate and the bathroom first-class, with a bigger than usual shower. My only reservation, but this is common and understandable, was that the room was a little small and there was lots of noise in the streets below from party revellers in the early hours. Coffee and tea, plus a mini bar, in the room - very good! No milk though. The hotel is literally intra-muros, inside the ramparts of the old city, and right at the heart of all the fun shopping and dining districts. Highly recommended.

Wonderful single night stay with the family. Easy check in. Helpful staff. Good sized family room with separate room for the children which was brilliant. Everything was clean and comfortable. Quiet part of the city so slept well. Convenient location and good access to on street and nearby car parks. Enjoyed the plentiful continental breakfast. Would definitely stay again if we were visiting Saint Malo.

I visited Ajoncs d'or in September .I arrived 6 hours early , but the room was ready and the staff were welcoming .I was given a St Malo map on which the manager wrote in his personal recommendations of places to see and restaurants to eat at. The room was spotless and the hotel is ideally situated for a walk round St Malo. Unfortunately I then had to leave early because of a problem back in England; however the staff were marvellous .They refused full payment, organised a ferry home and an urgent taxi to the port. This was great service. I have made a point to back there - soon .I would strongly recommend this hotel for a short break !!

Lovely hotel in the old town of St. Malo with good size family rooms. Cleanliness and quality of finish of a high standard. We booked the use of a garage which was just around the corner and were glad we did as parking in the old town looks like an ordeal.

We stayed one night ahead of an early morning ferry. The hotel is inside the walls and easy walk to everywhere. Hotel is immaculately clean. We had a family room which was beautifully decorated and comfortable beds. We used a parking garage opposite for €20 from hotel which made parking secure though it was tight getting in and out with cars parked opposite. The WiFi was a little slow. But minor points. A great hotel for a St Malo stay.

Hotel is just a couple of short block inside the walls, so it's easy to get to. They also have private garage space (need to reserve and pay for it), which is VERY useful. Hotel is clean and modern inside, well run, well kept, and altogether a good choice. Ours was a good sized room, firm beds, bright and modern bathroom.

We found the staff really helpful (good English, too) and very pleasant.

Highly recommend this place.
