Looking for a place to stay the night before the ferry we chose La Grassinais based on the photographs, the proximity to the port and the private parking. However what the photographs do not show is that it is in the middle of a trading estate surrounded by shopping centres and showrooms and a drive or expensive taxi ride away from...

Our original hotel booking was cancelled and the manager found this hotel for us as an alternative. I initially wasn't too pleased as I didn't like the location. However, when we arrived, the hotel room was clean and nicely furnished and the staff were very nice. We had a good size family room and all 4 of us had proper...

Very comfortable, clean, and receptionist very pleasant and helpful in finding venue for evening meal as restaurant was closed. Shame located on the edge of a shopping centre but would stay here again.

On Sunday July 12th 2013 we stayed here hoping to eat at the well reviewed restaurant, which although generally shut on Sundays was open for Sundays mid-July to end of August. After a day's drive we hoped to park up, dine, sleep and catch the morning ferry. In fact July 12th did not count as mid July, but it was...

Again food excellent and amenities. The hotel / restaurant has been surrounded by car showrooms and other similar establishments over time but this does not distract from the calm ambience once you are in the gates. This is the second time that we have visited and we look foreword to our third visit.

Straight down the road to the ferry makes this our perfect overnight stop. We arrived much earlier than planned but were happily shown to our room. Although the room and shower were small it was more than enough for our needs. We pre booked our table in the restaurant and were not disappointed with our meal. The staff are very...

First a warning - La Grassinais is wrongly situated on Google maps, as we found out to our cost. It is not on the intersection of the D137 and D301. It is off the first roundabout on the D301 direction St Malo. Turn right and then the second right to find the Logis which is tucked away on the right....

This is a strange place! The dining room is grey with very bright white wall lights and ceiling chandelier. It makes for a dining area which is "cold" and not at all gentle, which is a great pity. It is certainly not romantic. The tables, which are also grey are large and well spaced, which is a plus. The woman...

Stayed on our last night in France to be near the ferry for the next day and also as it was a Sunday in Mid July the restaurant was open for dinner in the evening - a difficult thing to find in France. Our room was clean, comfortable with a small en-suite shower room. We had friends joining us for...

“Whilst this is not a luxurious hotel, all the rooms are well insulated from traffic noise (and the hotel is close by busy roads). But, it is exceptionally clean, and quite comfortable. Windows are fitted with safety catches, and TV etc. is supplied. The bathrooms are small, but well enough appointed. They welcome dogs and obviously young children as there are cots available. It is exceptionally convenient for the ferry port. There is ample parking.”
