We have just returned from our first visit to St Malo made very special by choosing to stay at Quic en Groigne. The hotel is ideally situated in the old city, our room was very comfortable and the welcome superb. If you are looking for a fantastic place to stay with some excellent advice on where to visit and the... More

We stayed in this hotel for 1 night while visiting Saint Malo during a 2 week vacation in France. The proprietors were wonderfully friendly, and the hotel itself was very nice. Staying within the walled city of Saint Malo was a unique experience and a highlight of our trip. It's amazing walking the quiet streets of this city at night... More

My husband and I spent the whole of last week at Quic en Groigne. I can honestly say, having spent hours walking around the Intra Muros of St Malo, we certainly chose the perfect hotel for us. The owners and staff are always happy to help, chat and advise with a smile. Thank you so much. I loved being able... More

Very helpful owners who spoke good English and offered plenty of advice regarding restaurants and places to visit. Convenient location in old town near to shops and restaurants, plus only 5 minutes drive from ferry terminal. Take advantage of the garage as you will not need a car for a couple of days, and the maze of one-way streets can... More

We had the pleasure of staying in this lovely hotel, sadly for just one night. From the very outset this is the perfect place to stay in Saint Malo- the location is idea, 5 minutes by car from the Condor ferry terminal, and close to all the bars and restaurants in Saint Malo (old town). There is parking available if... More

The room was a good size, there was parking for our bikes. Best of all was getting our laundry done for 10 E. The staff was very helpful. Breakfast was good. Yogurt, cereal, bread, jams. St Malo is amazing. The hotel is right up from the Dinan ferry and very close to one of the beaches. Our room was on... More

Arrived at the hotel having booked a room for the following night by mistake (long story!) prior to catching ferry the next day. Fortunately due to a late cancellation they had a room available. Receptionist Charlotte dealt with the confusion admirably and with great good humour, even contacting booking.com so that we could cancel the mistaken booking without cost. As... More

Great location inside the walls of the rampart. Parking is 15€ per day in their parking lot. After unloading our luggage in front of the hotel, we parked outside the walls in a public parking lot by the ferry building, and paid 6€ per day. 10 minute walk from the hotel. We did not partake in the breakfast which cost... More

The room was spacious and comfortable, and it was nice to have a good-sized shower. The owners had excellent recommendations for dining (a shout-out to Gilles, which serves fantastic traditional French food) and things to do. They made a lovely town even more friendly and welcoming.

Perfactly situated for arrivals off the ferry, this is a great little hotel. Comfortable room in a quiet side street (St Malo is good at managing the traffic) with a good shower. The manager opened up the garage for us to store our bikes overnight, and gave us great recommendations for restaurants for dinner (L'Amoricaine and L'Encrage). Super base for... More
