We stayed in Beaune for several wine industry functions and Hotel Le Cep was the perfect location to base our stay! Jean Claude, the General Manager, was a wonderful host and recognized and welcomed us as soon as we arrived. The hotel is in impeccable condition and the spa has just been remodeled and looks great! The staff was very... More

We have travelled extensively around Europe, North America and the Caribbean, and we have stayed in many 5* hotels, but I gotta say hotel Le Cep topped our list...for no other reason than the ambiance, décor, kindness and dedication of the staff was impeccable. You will read complaints about this hotel, and it is physically not perfect, but it is... More

What an exquisite hotel in the center of Beaune. Check out the Saturday market....indoors and outdoors...what a treat. Right next to a historic hospice house...Hotel Dieu. Breakfast in the cellar includes wine and a machine that squeezes fresh orange juice. And in the heart of Burgundy wines, especially "white" Burgundy. BTW...61% of Burgundy wines are white. Loiseau des Vignes is... More

This hotel was so beautiful and in a great location. There are so many quaint parts like the cellar we ate a delicious breakfast in, to the room with a private balcony overlooking the living walls in the open air atrium, to the lovely outdoor and indoor sitting areas. The staff was wonderful in recommending delicious places to dine and... More

We stayed her for 3 nights during our trip to Burgundy. The staff speaks English very well and is friendly. This hotel is centrally located in Beaune, which is the best place to stay while visiting Burgundy. The rooms are clean. It is definitely a European hotel and the bathrooms and beds reflect that. Our room was a little warm,... More

My wife and I stayed at the Hotel Le Cep in late September of 2016. The hotel is quite charming, very old (like parts of it being centuries old !....but with all modern conveniences), and has an extremely helpful and friendly staff. It is very conveniently located with everything in downtown Beaune easily walkable in 5 minutes or less. Examples:... More

We stayed 2 nights. It's a great location for seeing Beaune and the area. The service was mostly outstanding. The grounds and lobby are all very nice. Our room with 2 small single beds (not what we requested) was very old and worn feeling. No view, one tiny window. The bathroom needed a remodel. Beds and bedspreads all looked and felt... More

This hotel is lovely but the service and rooms could use improvement. Rooms were nice sized but bedding, towels, need updating. Daily housekeeping did not replenish coffee capsules, soap, shampoo, etc and we had to call daily for something, which was annoying. But when requested, the quickly responded. Breakfast service was on the slow side too. Besides this, the grounds... More
