We had a friendly and quiet stay at Le Clos during our 3 day trip in Bourgogne. Our hostess was friendly and helpful and made sure we knew the names of all three cats on the property. Breakfast was plentiful and the room well appointed, if a bit warm on the summer nights. A nice pool is available and the...

Wow! What a fantastic find! Clos de la Challangette, just outside Beaune, is a wonderful, peaceful haven. We rented the roulotte Valentine et Cupidon and enjoyed every second of our stay, from the wonderful hosts to the gorgeous pool, the fantastic breakfast rooms and their unbelievable array of pastries and the lovely town of Beaune nearby. The roulotte (Gypsy caravan)...

Our last stop before the end of our holiday and we couldn't have asked for a better ending we just wished we had stayed for 2 nights. Our superior gypsy wagon was fantastic and beautifully decorated, just like the rest of Le Clos de la Challangette. There is a boutique shop a must for wine lovers as the selection was...

We stayed here en route to the Alps. We had the family room which was perfect for our needs... Large bed with sitting area downstairs and a twin bedded room upstairs which was also spacious, it would be ideal for 2 couples as well as a family as it was a totally self enclosed room (I assumed it would be...

My husband and I spent 2 nites here and loved it despite the terrible cold and rainy weather. For 3 star hotel it was just great...not the finest linens as in a 5 star but excellent for the price. It's quite a compound with the owners house, 2 reproductions of gypsy wagons and an assortment of rooms all individually decorated....

My wife and a friend and I stayed at Le Clos de la Challangette for 2 nights. The family room was very large with a big comfortable bed and sitting area with a lounge etc. It also comes with a second loft room which our friend found excellent. The owners were more than helpful with local knowledge and restaurant ideas....

We spent two nights at Le Clos in one of the gypsy caravans, and although it was a bit small (which was to be expected!), it was absolutely lovely. The grounds of this ex-farm are beautiful and provide such a relaxing place for a nice glass of wine and a local snack of bread and cheese. It was nice to...

A very welcoming chambre d'hote run by friendly proprietors who offered us glasses of the local wine. They are willing to recommend local restaurants and can also book you a table. If the weather is good there is a garden area with small swimming pool. The room with mezzanine level is very spacious and everything is furnished and decorated with care.The...

Location The hotel is about 5 minutes drive from the centre of Beaune in a small hamlet on the edge of town. The rooms are housed in various converted farm buildings and there are also two old gypsy caravans that can be rented. The property is gated and there is plenty of secure parking as a result. Staff The property...
