We have stayed at numerous B&Bs in various countries and this simple, elegant, French B&B is second to none. Cecile and Christophe provide a warm, relaxing atmosphere in one of the most beautiful regions of France. We spent six evenings at this B&B and our hosts could not have been more kind and accommodating. You don't want to miss out... More

We stayed here overnight on our way down south after a long and tiring drive from home. The property is much bigger than first impressions as it is hidden from view from the road but there is ample parking and it is very convenient for walking into the town centre. From the moment we arrived, we were made most welcome... More

My wife and I have been coming here for several years and our expectations are always surpassed by the graciousness and kindness of Christophe and Cecile! This bed and breakfast is simply the best. It is an easy 10 minute walk into the center of Beaune and all that there is to see there and experience. The train station (... More

We stayed four nights with Cecile as our hostess in Beaune. The "Les Vignes" room and amenities could not have been more comfortable, with lovely little touches like turn-down service, and the upper loft/sitting area with Scrabble. Cecile was so friendly and helpful. She made check-in very easy even when we arrived much later than expected, and had great restaurant... More

We stayed five nights in the Vineyard room. The B&B's location is excellent. It is a short walk into central Beaune and a convenient base for exploring Burgundy by car. Cecile is the consummate hostess. She was kind and generous with her time. She was knowledgeable about the entire region - restaurants, scenic driving and walking routes, and even the... More

Other reviewers have described the delights of Les Planchottes quite well, so I'll limit my comments to this: If you are looking for a quiet, lovely, beautifully decorated B&B with utterly charming hosts in a great location, this is the place for you. I can't imagine a nicer place to stay in Beaune!

Our first visit to Beaune and we were delighted with this fascinating B&B, which has so much going for it, not the least the hostess Cecile, for whom nothing was too much. Easily familiar with English in its various forms, she was happy for us to try to speak French and only slipped effortlessly into English when we met a... More

We stayed at Les Planchottes for 5 nights in July. The house is right on the edge of the old town of Beaune which is a great home base for exploring Burgundy. The House has 2 beautiful rooms that overlook the gardens at the back of the home. We had the twin bedded room which had a large bathroom with... More
