A wonderful B&B with helpful and friendly host and hostess. They helped us with taxi needs to St. Pierre Gare in Tours and with questions we had on area activities and attractions. They served a nice breakfast with croissant, bread, jam, granola & yogurt, and OJ (no cheese or meat). Upstairs right room is smaller than grander upstairs left room.... More

4 fabulous nights with great hosts. The room was very spacious and comfortable bed. Breakfasts were delicious in the courtyard, Eveline spoke Franglais but was super helpful. Excellent location, good wifi, free parking in the street and lovely areas to sit and relax.

My husband and I stayed at La Grange for 4 nights last month (June, 2016). In the middle of busy Amboise, very close to all activities and restaurants, La Grange is hidden behind a large wooden gate. You enter into a lovely courtyard with a welcoming garden, and feel that it is a restful retreat. We stayed in a lovely... More

This is an excellent place to stay when visiting Amboise. We walked to town and to the museum with Leonardo Da Vinci exhibits. Yveline is a perfect host and made a wonderful breakfast. She also knew it was my birthday and had a special treat for us in the room. We would certainly stay here again.

My sister and I stayed at La Grange for four nights and were so sad to leave! Yveline is a very sweet host and prepares delicious breakfasts in the beautiful flower garden! Our room was very spacious and the bathroom is totally updated. Loved it!

We stayed three nights at La Grange Chambres Amboise (18 rue Chaptal) in October. When we got to the street, I recognized the red door and rang the bell. It was easy to find with the GPS. The proprietress, Ms. Yveline, opened up and husband maneuvered the car into the driveway in the pretty courtyard (free parking). She was very... More

My husband and I spent 5 nights at La Grange Chambres last Sept. and enjoyed our stay immensely! First and foremost.....the bed in our smaller upstairs room was sooooo comfortable! We were offered a bigger room after one day at the B & B but we declined based on how comfortable that bed was (obviously a deal-breaker for us!) Yveline... More

During a leisurely six-day autumn walking trip in the Loire Valley, our sixth such walking vacation in Europe, we were especially delighted to stay in La Grange, one of the nicest B&Bs we have ever encountered. Yveline Savin has superb taste, and has brilliantly renovated and modernized a former granary, an an especially quite street just a few blocks from... More

We spent two very nice evenings in this hotel. Pluses: Yveline was very helpful and nice, her English was a little limited but did not create any problems. Her very friendly cat wandered the premises and popped in and out of the rooms. Breakfast pastries and jams were excellent, plenty of coffee, cereal etc. No meats or cheeses. This was... More

Once inside the gates we were surprised at our surroundings- a beautiful and colorful garden with an outdoor setting- our breakfast venue! Evelyn was a gracious and welcoming hostess, giving us a choice of rooms. We chose the downstairs room closest to the garden- spacious enough, modern with french doors opening to the garden. There was a downstairs lounge area... More

“Our ground floor room was located just off a private courtyard with a beautiful garden. Some friends we met while there said their upstairs room overlooking the garden was furnished with beautiful furniture. We would probably request the upstairs room next time for that reason.”
