We stayed here for 7 days, the weather was great and the river is picture perfect. The decor, the gardens and the breakfast room are so French. We had dinner in Le 36 well worth the experience...yummo! The staff were so helpful, our room was enormous with a beautiful view to the garden and the Chateau high above us. The...

Le Choiseul is a really lovely traditional French hotel. The location is fantastic, right on the edge of the Loire and within a 5 minute walk of the town centre. We stayed in a superior room which was spacious and beautifully decorated with a small terrace and a very nice bathroom. There is off street secure parking at no extra...

The hotel was also perfectly located in visiting the many nearby Chateaus. The hotel's grounds are lovely, wonderful pool area, our room was very nice also. My only complaint is when we...

We stayed here for 3 nights in July 2010, and it was a great way to kick off our honeymoon. Great central location, could walk anywhere in town. Amboise is a pretty sleepy town (not much going on after about 11pm) so expect early nights in, and days filled with wine caves and chateaux tours. Secure car parking. Large room...

My wife and I stayed 4 nights at this beautifull Chateau. We could see The Loire from our room window. The pool is located in a very charming garden. Their restaurant, The 36, pricy, very refined , a 5 star must, for at least for 1 evening. In Paris, it would cost double. Excellent value.
