This was our second stay at the Maison Blanche and it only solidified our opinion that Annick is one of the premier hostesses in the Val de Loire! The continental breakfast has the best fresh breads and pastries you can imagine and the rooms are pristine as well as nicely equipped. Annick is very accommodating and there to help with resources, if you need anything. Sitting in the courtyard is a treat at any time of day and a lovely spot for a before dinner glass of wine!! When you go, don't miss the horses and llamas!! Keep up the good work Annick!! Hope to see you again soon!!

My husband and I stayed in a ground floor room in this charming & beautiful B&B in September 2022 for 4 nights. As we turned into the driveway, we looked at each other and smiled as we could already tell that it was just what we had hoped for. The room was large with a comfortable bed and dining table. Each piece of furniture was obviously chosen with care. There was a door leading into the garden and all windows had beautiful lace curtains. There is a shared kitchen where we stored the goodies we bought at the Sunday outdoor market (and ate for lunch and snacks)and tables for outdoor dining in the courtyard. Be ready for visits by the two kitties and 2 dogs, all of whom were well behaved and provided welcomed entertainment. Breakfast consisted of a delicious variety of homemade bread, croissants and other pastries along with homemade jams and preserves (and coffee, lots of coffee). The owner, Annick, is so nice and a wealth of information about the local sights. With her help, we decided at breakfast each morning where we would head to that day. We want to go back immediately, but will have to wait for next time. Thank you Annick!…

I have traveled to many countries and stayed in many B&Bs, but I can honestly say this was the most restful and pleasant stay! My friend S. (who is from France) and I stayed at this most lovely Bed and Breakfast for a week. S. had stayed there before with her daughter and family and recommended the Manoir de la Maison Blanche since we wanted to visit the castles of the Loire Valley. It was so beautiful and charming! It was nestled in a rural neighborhood just minutes away from the quaint town and castle of Amboise. It is a great central location for many attractions in the area. The accomodations were delightful and spacious; the architecture and design were well thought out and our room so tastefully decorated. The outdoor courtyards and lounging areas were surrounded by roses and fragrant bushes; the grounds and landscape were inviting! The 2 llamas and horses only added to the scenery. Annick was the perfect hostess! Her breakfasts each morning were quintessential France with a delicious spread of fruit, jams, breads, yogurt, juices and teas! We hated leaving every morning but longed to return every evening! I have fond memories of my stay and getting to know Annick. I hope to return with my children and grandchildren one day!…

We stayed here 2 nights while doing a self guided bike tour of the Loire Valley. The room was cozy and the property very interesting. The host was very nice. The breakfast was a basket of baked goods from a very good bakery. The jams were homemade and delicious. There was no egg, ham, cheese or any kind of protein . There was orange juice. My husband is a type 2 diabetic and needs more than carbs. Her daughter is an endocrinologist so she should have a clue as to what makes a healthy breakfast!

We stayed for 2 nights, family holidays on bicycles. The surroundings are lovely, and the B&B is a gem. The photos on booking sites reflect exactly what you will see there. The host, Mme Annick, gave us a very warm welcome with her family of animals. She is a delightful person who went out of her way to make our stay comfortable. She bought the manoir in ruins and completely renovated it so you do get the charm of an old French manoir coupled with modern comfort. The rooms are large, comfortable, decorated with good taste of old French country house and are spotless clean. Even though there are animals on the property, everything is so organized and clean that you can’t help but just enjoy the environment of nature. Breakfast includes a good choice of French pastries, fresh breads and delicious homemade jams accompany by a choice of cheese and fruit. We are more of non-sugar breakfast fans and Mme Annick made an effort to accommodate us with additional choice of food. We had a great stay.…

Annick was welcoming friendly and extremely helpful. Enjoyed our stay in LoireValley at this B&B. Lulu was there on guard but not a problem to us at all. Annick helped us with our dinner reservations which all turned out to be very successful. Also enjoyed a conversation with her one afternoon and her tips were very helpful. It was a convenient place to stay in Loire valley and her English is excellent. We recommend a stay here if you would like to have peace and quiet each night after busy touring days. It is an extremely old place and we found our room a little cool as the nights were cold during our stay. There is heating but it wasn’t tuned on. Probably too early in September..( maybe we just felt it as we had been in the south if France where it was extremely warm.). Thank you Annick for a lovely stay. Dee & Kevin. Australia …

My husband and I were fortunate enough to stay 3 nights in this charming BnB. Annick the hostess is so welcoming and friendly , along with the master...great Dane Lulu, the lamas, goat, horses and cats. Annick speaks great English and is very interested in what you are visiting or visited and gladly gives recommendations, including the best boulangerie. Breakfast is french style with carefully chosen breads, brioche different each day. The best you will ever eat, along with fresh juice, tea/coffee/chocolate, cheese, yogurts and homemade jams. Extremely generous amounts. Our room was extremely large with separate large bathroom, toilet and kitchen (which we didn't use). Bed large and comfortable and quality linen on quilt cover. You do have access to a kitchen/dining area to heat up food etc in microwave, which also has a large fridge for use and kettle for hot drinks. The whole place is charming and inviting We brought our golden retriever Mia, who was welcomed by 'Lulu' and the rest of the animals. The grounds in which the property sits on is large and we took walks with Mia each morning to explore. Just stunning in Autumn. The location is perfect for visiting Château's and some wineries. Walking distance to town which have some lovely restaurants, recommended by Annick. We can't wait to come back! Thank you Annick. One of the loveliest host we've ever had. …

Manoir de la Maison Blanche is a delightful place to stay! Your hostess is super friendly and chatty and very welcoming. She has various llamas, dogs, cats and horses that add to an enjoyable and interesting setting. You can easily walk into the heart of Amboise to sight see and dine. The whole area is very charming and typical of a Loire Valley village. Breakfast was extensive with fresh pastries, house made preserves, yogurt, fruit, etc. Our room was huge as was the bathroom which can be hard to find in France. A really delightful place to spend your time when you are in the Loire Valley.

Stayed here for 2 nights. This is a great place to be if you want to visit all of the chateaus in the area. The rooms are very spacious. We had 2 good nights of rest as it is a quiet place. We had our own little kitchen with a fridge microwave & dishes. It is a great place to hang out & look at maps & drink wine. Parking is easy. They have horses, llamas & a friendly Great Dane named Lulu. Our hostess was very helpful & sweet. Everything was perfect & we loved staying here.
