We were looked after very well at this establishment in this lovely old house facing the Cathedral. The house was beautifully looked after and was very comfortable indeed. The owner was most hospitable and looked after us very well. Breakfast was a joy and we had a beautifully prepared table from which to choose our food. We really felt special!...

To begin with, it is one of the best hotels my mom and me have ever seen. Actually it is not a hotel – it is a sweet home far from home. The hotel is housed in an elegant old-fashioned building with magnificent atmosphere. The owner, Philippe, and his wife do their best to make their guests feel safe, comfortable...

Right next door to the cathedral, 16 Place St Louis could not be better placed to explore the lovely town of Blois. It is an old house on four floors - the rooms are on the third and fourth, so you must be fit, and prepared to climb old stairs, the higher you go they lean inwards slightly - quirky...

Its location is convenient so you can walk to the chateau or Blois downtown within 10 mins. The host Philippe is super helpful and provided bike rental, dining and travel suggestions which are extremely useful. The breakfast is also one the best I've had in France. Overall speaking, very much worth the value!

Let me start by saying that Philippe is the perfect host: friendly, knowledgable, but not overly familiar. I should also say that I just loved breakfast every morning: the choice of items was superb, the quality top-notch and the setting impeccable. The house itself is also a treasure, with beautiful wooden beams and antique furniture. The room, however, was very...

Au 16 is on Place Saint Louis, opposite the cathedral. Philippe was very welcoming and the room fine – the house is elegant and packed with antiques. You do need to be fit – it’s above the town and tracing the alleyways of the old quarter does mean going up and down a lot! A stunning breakfast in the beautiful...

We stayed in Bleu de Loire. It was clean, but a bit small for two nights, with very limited space for luggage or to hang clothes. Phillipe was a gracious host and spoke excellent English. His breakfast in the morning was abundant--ham, cheese, yogurt, fruit, breads, juice, coffee. He gave us discount coupons for touring Chenonceau and Chambord, very much...

My wife and I stayed at Phillipe's BB in mid-Sept at the beginning of a cycling trip. We really felt that Phillipe went the extra mile to help us start off well, right down to labeling our suitcases to make sure the luggage transfer went smoothly. Couldn't agree more with the other reviews regarding breakfast - definitely the best of...

We thoroughly enjoyed our one night stay with Philippe in the Bleu de Loire room. His recommendation and booking a table for le bistrot du Cuisinier was much appreciated. The parking across the road after hours was free, but then remember to move your car to avoid paying metered parking. This place is a handy walk to everything and we...

Charming little B& B right next to the cathedral. Excellent location in Blois. Parking is right outside but you don't need to put money in the meter until 9:00 in the morning (you're good from 6 pm to 9 am) It was a little tricky to find so make sure you look for a little brass plate with their name...
