Overall - disapointed. Hotel needs refurbishing. Smells very much of smoke - although is smoking free . Rooms clean , bedding towels clean . Again needs some refurd- carpets very stained . Bathrooms very good nice showers . BUT no bar closed and seems it has been for sometime . The hotel is ok .

This is a "no frills" overnight stay hotel with safe parking at the rear. Looks and feels tired - especially the carpets. Buffalo Grill nearby for evening meal within walking distance. Bijou rooms with good bathrooms. Breakfast was perfectly acceptable. Le patron was a bit grumpy and snappy!! Extensively frequented by passing thru trade and early activity in the car...

Great hotel with very nice room , short walk into town for all local amenities , chap on reception was very helpful even though my French Wasn't the greatest gave us quite a few tips which made our stay more enjoyable . If you don't fancy the walk then there's a buffalo grill located right next door but we opted...

... sure, it's not in the town centre, but are you unable to read a map and see for yourself where it is before booking? And anyway the walk will do you good!!! The outside isn't the most attractive building but inside the rooms are clean, tidy and simply furnished. Bed was comfortable too. Free car parking and free Wi-Fi....

Nice friendly staff - rooms are clean and have big luxurious bathrooms. There's also big buffalo grill next door for dinner, plus a huge car park. Overall excellent hotel that offers great value, would definitely recommend this hotel for a budget stop off / sleep over

We have been staying at the Brit Olympia as a stopover since 2010 and have always been very pleased. However, our last visit was not such a pleasant experience. Standards have definitely dropped: The door to the room needed a strongman to open it; The fridge door was completely unattached to the fridge, although the fridge did work; There used...

Easy to find with ample parking. Very helpful and friendly receptionist who booked a restaurant table for us. The room was large and very clean with a good sized comfortable bed with a higher standard of decoration than we would have expected from a budget hotel. The well appointed bathroom boasted a shower which included jets, plunge and normal head....

Location is horrible. Far from the city. The check-in described at booking.com is until 11pm. We arrived at 7h50pm at the reception was closed. We saw a woman that worked there leaving and she was in a hurry and did not have time to waste on us. So she pointed us to a door in the back and said that...

This hotel is approximately 15-20 minutes to city center by walk and it is the optimum choice if you want to rest in a very clean hotel but not so expensive. The interior has an authentic design, rooms are small but not a big problem, it is very comfortable. Breakfast has a standart quality because you are not in a...

Stayed one night on our way down to Perpignan. Very nice rooms, adequate space, and the bathroom was nice. We had to get used to the fact that some hotels still use a key to open and lock doors. Breakfast was continental but all you can eat so you can have your fill before moving on. Overall this was a...

“try the first floor, because they close the elevator at night and whenever they want. We spoke if a woman that worked there and she said that even if the elevator is working you have to be careful because it doesn't work very well. The best thing is just not stay there.”
