I have never felt more welcome to a hotel. Well laid out, extremely clean, and comfortable. The owners are very accommodating. We will return and a great value. I highly recommend the breakfast. It is a total delight.

Had a lovely stay at Hotel Saint Jean. Very friendly and welcoming owners. Comfortable and clean room. Breakfast filling and tasty. Will definitely be staying again. Short walk into the old part of the city. Free wifi is added bonus.

Don't be put off by the exterior. This is a lovely little hotel just a few minutes walk from the centre of town. The staff were very welcoming and helpful, and the breakfast was good. It's just a pity there's no air conditioning. Be aware that the hotel closes for a few hours in the afternoon. I'd definitely stay again.

I was travelling alone by bicycle and was able to store my bike overnight in the owner's locked garage. I arrived around 3pm to see a notice on the door that the hotel was closed until ( I think) 17:00. Fortunately the owner's were having some materials delivered and the door was opened and I was able to check in...

The hotel room was small but comfortable. The breakfast was excellent, with plentiful coffee, a wide range of choices, including fresh croissants, pain aux chocolate & delicious, local apple juice that you can buy. Both owners were very pleasant. Parking could possibly be an issue but was fine for us.

Another good tripadvisor recommendation. Just over half way between the Med and The Channel, Bourge is a good stop over. I was a little concerned about the street and the exterior of the hotel but inside was a warm, friendly and very good value family run hotel. Parking on the street etc ok and very close to the centre. May...

As a stop over on the long drive south I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. Madame who runs this immaculate place is very friendly and speaks good English. The beds are really comfortable and breakfast is just that little bit better than most in similar establishments. Stay here if you can.

We stayed here on our way down the Auvergne region. Really good hotel, warm welcome and a great position. Its a flat 5 min walk to the old town. Parking was easy on the road outside. Huge tasty breakfast with lovely coffee. The Croissants and Pain au Chocolat were some of the nicest we have ever had.

This is what a family-owned hotel in the heart of France should be: comfortable, clean, close to the center of town, and above all, friendly. We first met one of the owners on the phone--when she helped us find our way to the hotel (Google Maps' directions having failed us). On arrival she was more than welcoming, giving us a...

Just stayed at this hotel and found the experience excellent. The owner is extremely friendly and accommodating (we arrived 5 hours early!). Very clean smart rooms and garage parking for motorcycles. Short walk to to town. Recommended A+
